Advantages: Cheap and cost effective ultra-mobile computing Disadvantages: Not the best choice for online gaming, mass downloading or media storage
...such as high-end modern games and applications. In saying this, the AsusEee range is capable of playing some modern games at reasonable standard if they are ran from an external harddrive. The latest AsusEee model for example could run games like World of Warcraft and Left 4 Dead, along with other resource hungry software titles if you have knowledge of overclocking and using external hardware. If you don't, it is advised that you look for a laptop with higher specifications if your main concern is playing top of the range online games.
The Eee range of netbooks were originally aimed at children, due to the size of the machine. A netbook is ideal for a school child to complete homework and communicate with family and friends, while being able to run average games and use as a basic media centre for music and streaming video entertainment...

Review of ASUSEeePC901
Advantages: Size, Ease of Use Disadvantages: Small keyboard, small screen
...This review looks at one of many netbooks to be released in the UK over the past few months, ASUS's EEEPC 701 SD. The model I have is fitted with Windows XP and has an 8Gb hard drive. I bought it on special offer for £155.
Appearance
The 701SD is absolutely tiny. It weighs around a kilogram and is roughly the same size as a hardback reading book when in the closed position. It comes in a neat box along with instructions,a mains charger, a protective case and a system CD. It has a 7 inch screen which is absolutely tiny but is still perfectly functional. The unit has three USB sockets, headphone and microphone jacks, and SD memory card slot, a small webcam above the screen and a microphone positioned just underneath the keyboard. It has a small touchpad which is small but works in exactly yhte same way as a normal sized laptop...

Review of AsusEeePC 701
...The ASUSEEEPC 701 model is an extremely affordable, small and portable netbook with a 7" screen and built in wifi card designed primarily for internet use.
The standard model comes with a built in 2 gigabyte solid state hard drive and comes in a variety of colours and finishes ranging from matt white through to pastel pink. The white ones are probably your best bet as in my opinion they are slightly more stylish, echoing shades of the Macbook Air.
The EEEPC comes with a built in microphone on all models and webcam on most models and runs on a Linux based operating system although it can be configured to run on a Windows based system. Windows based versions are planned for release by the company shortly.
The Linux distribution is extremely stable with a Windows like user interface although for those not quite used to Linux you...

Review of AsusEeePC 701
Advantages: Small, compact and easy to use Disadvantages: no windows operating system, tiny keyboard and mouse
...The AsusEeePC 701 -- its a very portable laptop that cost me £210.
Its a very neat laptop, being a traveller and travelling with my job, I need a light laptop with instant internet, messenger, skype access. This laptop gives you this with ease.
All of my colleagues are intrigued by the laptop, especially the guys with 17" screens, lugging them around to every destination.
The EeePC is one of the smallest laptops on the market. At 225 by 35 by 165mm, it's about the size of a book, and weighs 900 odd grams. Its petite dimensions give it a toy-like appearance, but this is countervailed by the pearl-white finish, which gives it a touch of sophistication. Ultimately, the EeePC looks equally at home on the catwalk or in a child's playpen -- it is what you make of it really!
Because it's so small, some sacrifices have been ma...

Review of AsusEeePC 900
Advantages: Good battery life, Good specifications, Wireless N and Bluetooth Disadvantages: Better netbooks available, Poor webcam
...INTRO
Asus (or AsusTek), are famous for their range of computer motherboards (the big circuit board in a PC). Nowadays, they've broadened their range to other computing items such as flat screen monitors, PDAs and even laptops. Now, speaking of laptops, Asus released their EeePC range of laptops and these were the first 'netbooks' on the market. A netbook is a laptop (or notebook) but smaller and cheaper than a standard laptop. It's always been the case of, the smaller the laptop, the higher the price tag, since they would usually be classed as 'Ultra Mobile' laptops and would be just as powerful if not more powerful than normal laptops, but Asus changed all that by introducing the EeePC. There are various flavours of the EeePC with price tags ranging from around £180 and screen sizes from 7" up to 10" odd. The main...

Review of ASUSEeePC 1000H
Advantages: Nice keyboard, great screen, goog build quality Disadvantages: Price
...I was very lucky to get our AsusEeePC 1000H today. The version I have here is a 10-inch Windows XP version, with 1GB RAM and an 80GB hard drive. Having only just unboxed the tiny wonder and played with it for around one hour, this is my very early impressions.
Firstly, the accessories you get in the box make it seem a lot better value than other offerings. The stumpy, yet high capacity battery should yield much longer runtimes than the 3-cell batteries shipping with other netbooks. You also get a nice little manual, a polishing cloth, Support CD and MS Works 9.0 licence. There is also a slip case, which is functional and means you can get out-and-about with your Eee very quickly.
The 1000H unit is very very sexy. Our model is in black and it has a very high gloss finish. It looks as thought it'll really be a fingerprint magnet, but...

Review of ASUSEeePC 1000H
Advantages: Price, easy to use, very portable, good features Disadvantages: Size, over-heating battery.
...You get what you pay for with the EeePc.
This bite-size laptop (oh, that's the one for children right?) comes in a neat, sleek package that makes you want to purr with pleasure. It feels good, it is very, very easy to set up out of the box and to connect to wireless broadband (my Windows experiences with wi-fi have ALWAYS ended in tears).
You can email on or off-line, surf the web, write documents, spreadsheets and presentations and (joy of joys) play Solitaire. You can send MSN messages and use Skype with a webcam included (on the 4G version, not sure about the others) and all of this without Windows. It uses Linux as the OS but if you're desperate the option to install a variety of Windows OS is there. Though why would you want to?
But and it is a big BUT for such a small and inexpensive machine, size does matter. Surfing...

Review of ASUSEeePC 4G
Advantages: Small and Portable, Cheap Disadvantages: Small HD, No CD drive
...Well I just love this laptop. It is everything I want in a laptop. It does have a few minor flaws but the pros totally outweigh them.
Appearance
This laptop is a great looking laptop. Only the size of an A5 notepad, it is small and yet it still manages to look smart yet fun. I chose the baby blue cover for my asuseee but any colour looks just as good. Inside, the layout is neat and tidy with reasonable sized keys for this small laptop. The sides of the laptop look clean in simple as is to be expected with a small laptop like this. Without a CD drive, it allows more room for the 3 USB ports and SD slot allowing the back of the laptop to be left clear bar the power port. Overall, a great looking laptop.
Function
With such a small hard drive of only 4gb and a small amount of memory of 512mb, this laptop surprised...

Review of AsusEeePC 701
Advantages: Ultra portable Disadvantages: less features
...AsusEeePC 900
*************
AsusEeePC series notebooks are generally for mobile purpose. These are something like palmtop but the screen size and configurations are generally higher than palmtops. Eee PCs are extremely portable and have a very light weight with good design and look. I am taking EeePC 900 here for discussion about its some good features and its advantages, and disadvantages also.
*****
Design and Display
The main feature of this notebook is its design and display. Notebook is completely dedicated to portability and it has beautiful small display with 8.9" TFT, 1024 x 600 ( WSVGA ) display screen. And the quality of display is its Wide screen support. So have this and enjoy your life.
*****
Processing speed
EeePC are mobile notebooks for internet use while travelling so that its processing speed is reasonable...

Review of ASUSEeePC901
Advantages: quicker, and really portable Disadvantages: linux operating system
...This review is of the new asusEEEpc. Its been quite fun using and reviewing this one as its not like your usual laptops, and in many ways its a lot worse however at the end of testing it iv got to say I really like the asusEEEpc and however rubbish it might be I think I will end up buying one if some of the features just improve a little or if the higher spec editions become cheaper.
I'm reviewing the new better version of the EEEpc this time as I reviewed the cheapest one last time and although it was quite good I though the amount of memory it had slowed it down and that there also wasn’t enough storage space of it.
This dearest one is about £300 at the moment although I have seen it for £260. I do think they will get cheaper in the future though just like anything does so a lot of you might want to wait a little longer...
