Do you really need it?
Advantages: Powerful laptop, good value, easily upgradeable, reliable hardware.
Disadvantages: Some extras are unneccessary, built-in speakers are useless, Hard drive can be annoyingly noisy.
...I will note the many luxuries before delving into the serious hardware: 2 GB RAM (up to 4GB supported); 160 GB (subject to upgrading); 8X DVD Super Multi drive; Bluetooth v2.0; Intel PRO/Wireless 4965 802.11 a/b/g/n; 4 x USB 2.0 ports; Built-in 1.3M Pixel video camera; memory card reader (MMC, SD, MS, MS-Pro) and many more little extras make this laptop a formidable champion in the gaming world. Furthermore, bought new this laptop comes with a free optical gaming mouse (Logitech) and a Targus backpack. Now on to the big bad boys:
An Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T7700/T7500/T7300/T7100 : 2.4GHz~1.8GHz, 800MHz, with 4MB/2MB L2 cache makes this a relatively powerful computing tool - obviously with gaming in mind.
A 15.4" WSXGA+ (1680x1050) TFT-LCD screen makes watching films, viewing photographs, playing games or even just surfing...

Are ASUS Eee PCs worth the Money?
Advantages: Good battery life, Good specifications, Wireless N and Bluetooth
Disadvantages: Better netbooks available, Poor webcam
...not fit into the screen. On top of that, the keyboard would be difficult to type with and funnily enough, battery life is worse because the battery would be smaller.
Not only that, but I also saw some YouTube videos with comparisons between the SSD and HDD version. The SSD, although in theory should be faster, the HDD version out performed the SSD version (People say Asus uses cheap SSD drives to keep the cost down) so performance was another factor that got me to choose this particular model in the range. The 1GB of RAM also seemed appropriate.
MY OPINION
At first, I thought it looked pretty cool but on closer inspection, I've concluded that it's not the prettiest thing in the world despite having mine in a nice pearl white colour. For a start, the Eee logo on the top of the lid is rather ugly and spoils it a bit...

Asus EEE 4g
Advantages: Small and Portable, Cheap
Disadvantages: Small HD, No CD drive
...Well I just love this laptop. It is everything I want in a laptop. It does have a few minor flaws but the pros totally outweigh them.
Appearance
This laptop is a great looking laptop. Only the size of an A5 notepad, it is small and yet it still manages to look smart yet fun. I chose the baby blue cover for my asus eee but any colour looks just as good. Inside, the layout is neat and tidy with reasonable sized keys for this small laptop. The sides of the laptop look clean in simple as is to be expected with a small laptop like this. Without a CD drive, it allows more room for the 3 USB ports and SD slot allowing the back of the laptop to be left clear bar the power port. Overall, a great looking laptop.
Function
With such a small hard drive of only 4gb and a small amount of memory of 512mb, this laptop surprised...

Asus Eee PC 1000H - One of the nicest netbooks to date
Advantages: Nice keyboard, great screen, goog build quality
Disadvantages: Price
...I was very lucky to get our Asus Eee PC 1000H today. The version I have here is a 10-inch Windows XP version, with 1GB RAM and an 80GB hard drive. Having only just unboxed the tiny wonder and played with it for around one hour, this is my very early impressions.
Firstly, the accessories you get in the box make it seem a lot better value than other offerings. The stumpy, yet high capacity battery should yield much longer runtimes than the 3-cell batteries shipping with other netbooks. You also get a nice little manual, a polishing cloth, Support CD and MS Works 9.0 licence. There is also a slip case, which is functional and means you can get out-and-about with your Eee very quickly.
The 1000H unit is very very sexy. Our model is in black and it has a very high gloss finish. It looks as thought it'll really be a fingerprint magnet, but...

Pocket sized portability with the Asus Eee Pc 701
Advantages: Price, size, portability
Disadvantages: Processor power, memory capacity
...The ASUS EEE PC 701 model is an extremely affordable, small and portable netbook with a 7" screen and built in wifi card designed primarily for internet use.
The standard model comes with a built in 2 gigabyte solid state hard drive and comes in a variety of colours and finishes ranging from matt white through to pastel pink. The white ones are probably your best bet as in my opinion they are slightly more stylish, echoing shades of the Macbook Air.
The EEE PC comes with a built in microphone on all models and webcam on most models and runs on a Linux based operating system although it can be configured to run on a Windows based system. Windows based versions are planned for release by the company shortly.
The Linux distribution is extremely stable with a Windows like user interface although for those not quite used to Linux you...

Asus PC 900
Advantages: portability and features
Disadvantages: small memory and no cd drive
...For a programmer it is very important to have almost always a pc with him to be able to work and note down his ideas and everything else. The Asus Eee PC 900 it's one of the most suitable notebooks for persons who want a portable tool with them all the time. But like any other thing in this world there are some disadvantages too. I'm not finished with the advantages but we will take a look at them later. The very small memory (according to today's expectations) of only 4G isn't very eye-catching and on top of that today even a telephone has 9G memory. But we should consider the size of it and the features that it has to offer that are almost the same as a normal laptop. You could always put a memory card and a stick to it although....

Asus Eee PC 900
Advantages: Small, compact and easy to use
Disadvantages: no windows operating system, tiny keyboard and mouse
...The Asus Eee PC 701 -- its a very portable laptop that cost me £210.
Its a very neat laptop, being a traveller and travelling with my job, I need a light laptop with instant internet, messenger, skype access. This laptop gives you this with ease.
All of my colleagues are intrigued by the laptop, especially the guys with 17" screens, lugging them around to every destination.
The Eee PC is one of the smallest laptops on the market. At 225 by 35 by 165mm, it's about the size of a book, and weighs 900 odd grams. Its petite dimensions give it a toy-like appearance, but this is countervailed by the pearl-white finish, which gives it a touch of sophistication. Ultimately, the Eee PC looks equally at home on the catwalk or in a child's playpen -- it is what you make of it really!
Because it's so small, some sacrifices have been ma...

Asus Xonar D1 - move over creative, your time is up.
Advantages: cheap, works in vista, does the job far better than the competition, optical output!
Disadvantages: limited inputs (see review)
...The souncard market has never really been swamped with options. For those of us who don't use onboard sound and demand a seperate sound card for our sorround sound/gaming/music needs theres never been much choice. Most people go with Creative as they are well known and apparently respectable. I did just that a few years ago, it was a mistake. Their driver and customer support, especially for Windows Vista users is seriously lacking. I was finding my games locking up, my computer suffering from fatal errors (aka Blue Screens of Death) and just general sound issues that were hindering my enjoyment. Research soon showed that the creative card was to blame. As a result i threw my old creative soundcard in the bin and opted for something new, the Asus Xonar D1.
Simple, small and effective. Asus's card supports Vista and its drivers are...

Small ASUS, Large features
Advantages: GPS, HDMI, eSATA
Disadvantages: loud cooler
...antenna, HDMI output, eSATA connector to plig-in an external disc. So, as I wrote there are only 3 USB ports, but apart from that everything else is very good.
HDMI is a step forward and eSATA is great option for extensive disk space with very fast speed.
U3S is small notebook 318x243x32 and weight only 1.82kg. Power adapter is bigger and has 488g.
Keyboard is silver with black lables. With Fn you can switch display mods, camera, VoIP, WWW browser, mail client, wsitch WiFi/BT, turn sleep mode on, adjust brightness, adjust volume and activate/deactivate touchpad.
Touchpad is well built since it does nothing when writing on keyboard. The buttons a bit harder and between them is fingerprint reader.
Notebook has got Core2 Duo T7500 and therefore the tests are not bad at all:
Single-Thread mode
test of calculations with fixed point...
