This is not the anti-societal havoc of Fight Club, but the more deliberate mayhem that comes from greed run amok. The testosterone-junkie brokers of JT Marlin (the only female in the office is Abby, the receptionist and love interest, played by Nia Long) are out to make the sale, and whether that sale is legal or ethical doesn't matter. Seth Davis (Giovanni Ribisi) is a 19-year-old college dropout who strives for approval from his father (Ron Rifkin), a judge who is horrified that his son operates a 24-hour illicit casino. When an old friend visits the casino with a fellow broker, Davis is impressed by their wads of money and yellow Ferrari, and decides to join the firm. In no time he's making sales and settling into the groove of the office and all the after-hours perks, but the dream fades when Davis discovers the scam that is making all of the brokers wealthy beyond their dreams. Borrowing heavily from Wall Street and Glengarry Glen Ross, Boiler Room is at its best when dealing with matters of money, and powerful scenes of Davis learning to be a "closer" showcase the significant talent of Ribisi, Nicky Katt, and Vin Diesel. The movie flounders when developing the relationship between Davis and his father, becoming sentimental and trite. Review of Combination Boiler System

This is a lovely boiler that keeps my house warm

Advantages: More energy efficient, constant hot water
Disadvantages: It's very large

...I have my new Baxi Boiler now and I have had it since 12th February 2012. before that I had had my old one for over 20 years and I was having a lot of problems with it because it wasn?t working at heating all my radiators up properly and it was banging and kettling and the boiler man said eventually I?d need a new one. The last straw came when I had to move in with my daughter when we had our cold snap as the heating went off altogether and I was very cold. I took the cats with me but they weren?t keen on moving house. The gas board gave me a quote of nearly £4000 including labour but we looked up a Corgi registered boiler man out of the yellow pages and he did it for £2000 which was a big saving plus I got money off due to my age, but my daughter sorted this out for me. The boiler is lovely. It is much larger than my old one was...

Review of Baxi Combi Boiler

Boiling hot!

Advantages: Fast-paced, enjoyable and glamourous film.

Nevertheless, when I bought Boiler Room, it brought back fond memories of this job. * About Boiler Room* Boiler Room follows the character Seth Davis, played by Giovanni Ribisi. Seth has his own home casino business, a vocation which greatly displeases his father who is a high-court judge. In an attempt to obtain respect and recognition from his father, Seth becomes a stockbroker for a ruthless and ambitious firm. However, all is not as it seems, as behind the success, Ferrari's, and mountains of money lurks a disreputable practice that is dragging Seth into a gutter lower than his previous business managed. How will Seth ensure he does not go down with the firm? *Performances* Unsurprisingly I loved this film. It was easy to relate to the character of Seth, because my introduction to sales mirrored his.
