...I myself do not own this product. However my friends owns this particular product and I use it very frequently. This laptop is great for playing games with its seventeen inch HD screen, even better for watching movies, great for surfing the internet as it has 2.4 GHZ (Giga Hertz ) processor speed. There is enough memory ( 2GB) and it includes Windows XP Professional. ...It seems that other Ciao users have had poor experiences with the Compaq NX9020, but i decided to wait until i'd used it for a while before throwing my hat into the ring. I bought the laptop on Ebay for around 180 pounds a year ago, as it has been discontinued this is the most likely place to pick one up, i just wanted something for internet access, music downloading, university work and taking it into Lectures It has a 1.4 GHz processor with a 60 GB hard drive and 256M RAM, DVD-RW drive, TouchPad mouse and 2 USB ports, and runs on Windows XP. I've found the laptop very suitable for my needs, it runs DVDs well, has excellent quality sound and runs multiple windows with ease, however if several memory-heavy programs are running simultaneously it can slow down or freeze altogether. HP Compaq nx7300 - Good for business

Advantages: Great overall build quality, great screen, it's fast enough for you old man

It's the first time I have seen an HP/Compaq laptop, but I've used many other brands so I'll be mainly using them as a comparison.
