sony vaio AR88E
Advantages: massive screen
Disadvantages: large.
...This laptop is the Sony VAIO AR88E. The laptop is made mainly for gaming, watching movies on and various other entertainment needs whilst not compromising the ability to do serious work on these as well. One thing that is compromised though is the portability, entertainment laptops are made to keep at home and not really to carry about with you all the time, so whilst the specification may look good, don?t expect one of these to be very portable.
Its mainly black in colour however I like the design ho the screen top part comes over the bottom part of the laptop base slightly so that it gives a more cooler look to the laptop.
The installed ram on this laptop is great, it has a massive 2gb which is the main reason this laptop runs so fast, also its intel core 2 duo T7700 which is one of the newest processors makes this laptop run so...

My Sony VAIO
Advantages: Quality Looking, Very Stylish, Great Speed!
Disadvantages: -
...Product: 15.4" screen Laptop
Make: Sony, VAIO
Features: XP, Service pack 2
Price: Varied
This Sony VAIO Laptop is stylish, powerful, fast active, and easy to use, this laptop is exactly like the one I own. Mine is Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition with service packed 2, it has a 15.4" WXGA (1280x800) X-black LCD flat screen, and runs on 512MB DDR2 SDRAM (533 MHz). Even though, it's Windows XP, Its Vista capable as well; some of them I've seen are though. I can always rely on the Sony make; to me it has always been a top brand. I love the Intel Celeron M Processor 390; the processing speed is 1.70 GHz, which is the ideal speed for me. The hard disk drive is 80GB, which is quite suitable for the size. The Intel Graphics feature Media Accelerator 900 and comes with 128MB max, the graphics are outstandingly great, this is...

Converted to Sony Vaio
Advantages: Battery life, build quality, feels like a desktop pc
Disadvantages: Price
...This is my first Sony laptop, I am a happy man...
I've had a Dell, Toshiba and an HP laptop all in the past 4 years or so, each developed faults or just became to slow to run the most basic of task's. We all know Laptops can not compare to desktop equivalents with even the most primary of tasking, this new Sony offering breaks that rule.
The thing that first drew to me to the laptop was not only the Sony Vaio brand but it was also the design, its sexy! - Brushed silver effect and very thin. It's light and the screen is stunning, yes the thing you stare at 98% of the time this is powered up, something that most laptop manufacturers seem to not acknowledge, it is in fact very clear and bright. The keyboard layout seems a little strange upon first viewing, especially if you are used to most other brands. It is this minor redesign...

Sleek and Stylish Sony Vaio
Advantages: Great price for a Sony, Highly aesthetically pleasing
Disadvantages: Gets dirty extremely easily
...I have always wanted a Sony Vaio laptop; as far as I’m concerned, there is no laptop out there that comes anywhere close to being as aesthetically pleasing and stylish as the Vaio. In white, the Sony Vaio is by far the most attractive laptop on the market, and when I saw this moderately priced white Sony Vaio sitting there for the taking, I knew that it was something that I just had to own. Macbook’s are similarly styled, however I have always preferred the Windows operating system so for me, a Macbook was not a viable option.
In the past, Sony have always priced themselves a bit out of the market by marking up their laptops at a higher cost than similar specification machines, however the VGN-N230 breaks with this tradition and has brought Sony well and truly into the budget laptop market which is great to see...

Sony VAIO
Advantages: LONG BATTERY LIFE AND GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY.
Disadvantages: : NO GRAPHIC CARD.
...The Sony vaio is a device you can get for£ 500 or less. This is quite a notebook and it is very competence and efficient. It has a very stylish looks and has as very good graphics in terms of picture quality and brightness. I got mine some couple of months ago and I have not gotten any problems with it.
The Sony product has 15.4 X -black LCD and that makes the picture a very sharp and bright one. It does all the function you might require a laptop to do.
The Sony notebook has variety of features that makes it a fabulous functioning laptop and it is capable of running any software that is available. Its graphics card type is the one board graphic type.
This is a machine that has an upgrade value because some people might be thinking that the price might reflect the product quality but that is not true. One thing that I like...

Sony Vaio FW21L - Movies and games everywhere
Advantages: Amazing processor and graphic card. 4GB RAM, Bluray optical drive
Disadvantages: $$$$
...Device Keyboard, touchpad
Battery Lithium Ion
Run Time (Up To) 3.2 hour(s)
Operating System Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium
Overview
With a simple yet stylish design, this Sony Vaio VGN-FW21L looks very similar to a Macbook. Even the keyboard design is the same. The power beneath, however, is much extraodinary than a normal Macbook.
Display
Equiped with a 16.4" screen, which has a high resolution of 1600x900 WXGA and a true 16:9 aspect ratio, is capable of producing impressively performance. This large screen is able to satisfy every single user, who is in the need of watching movies, playing games or view photos in high detail. The pictures produced are very vivid, sharp and realistic. There seem to be no colour in this world that cannot be produced on this screen. The X-black screen technology increases...

Sony Vaio... be like 007
Advantages: Light , small. good looking
Disadvantages: bit expensive but worth it
...Ok My dad was looking for a new laptop, so he could use it at work and them work at home. He was browsing lots of different laptops in his price range but was mainly looking at Dell as he knew the brand and he had never had any problems with them. Then he saw this laptop in the Sony centre when he was walking past. We have never had a Sony computer but we new they were a good reliable company so he decided to go in and have a look. He realised that it had loads of memory that was perfect for him and supported wireless networks. His two main points were now covered. It also looked nice and had a 15.4-inch screen, it also has wide screen. He thought it had everything he wanted plus more so he got it.
This was around December last year and he has used it none stop ever since. In the review I will give some of the main features...

The Sony Vaio N505x
Advantages: Light, looks great, and it's cheap
Disadvantages: Outdated, low specs, poor battery performance.
...>>>>
An important factor for any consumer to check. 64MB - small compared today's standards. I have never used the laptop to the degree where I have had to worry, but it seems quite ironic that my mp3 player stores more information than this device!
This may not be any consolation but you can upgrade the memory to 128MB (still not great huh?). The option is there and priced at £42.29 and can be purchased from orcalogic.co.uk - they are 'in stock' today (17/01/06).
<<<<The processor>>>>
I'm not going to pretend I understand all the technical side of computers but the laptop runs at 333 MHz and is a Intel Celeron processor. From my understanding the processors speed determines how fast it carries out instructions. Thus this is quite slow compared to today's laptops such as the Sony Vaio VGN-S5XP/B with a Intel® Pentium® M processor 760 2...
