...The Body Shop is a shop that sells all body products be that cosmetics, bath, body, skin care, men's products, fragrance and hair. They have a wide range and variety and they have a product that suits everyone. Over the years I have had a lot of gift sets purchased for me and I now know which items that I like and use regularly and those that I can avoid as they do not smell great or because they do not do anything for my skin. They have great sales assistants that are very helpful and they are always prepared to help you and if you need them too, to walk around the shop with you to help you find some great products. The Body Shop Rocks!

Advantages: Benefits outside of the company. Natural. Animal Friendly. Quality products.
Disadvantages: Luxury item prices. No heat protecting treatment.

...The Body Shop is a well established company and I love all of their products. My favourites are the body butters, lip balms, soaps, face cleansing/moisturising, fragrances and makeup. (Their massage products are awesome as well!) Though the prices are just above my budget I always save up for their goods because they are quality, kept close to nature and are animal friendly (which is very important for me). I never regret it. I believe that as a consumer I should know what I am investing my money in. The one issue I am unsure of is that the company was bought by L'oreal. L'oreal test their products on animals but as far as I know, they are taking points from the Body Shop and are looking for alternative methods. My Body Shop

...This is a review on a company that I have loved and respected since the age of around 10. When I was younger, I was looked after a lot by an auntie who was a big animal rights campaigner and due to me looking up to her so much, I not only learnt a lot about different products and companies and methods of animal testing but I also managed to acquire come beliefs which I still hold. When I was about 12 years old I wrote a really beautiful email to the body shop HQ telling them about my auntie and thanking them for backing the no animal testing belief, and for never testing any of their products on animals. I told them how nice it was that when customers go into their shop they do not have to look on the back of the item to see if it's tested on animals or not, it is a company policy and people can stick to their beliefs by shopping...

Body Shop Mango Body Butter

...I bought the Mango Body Butter at a Body Shop party. I'd seen them in the body shop before but never bought one after thinking they seemed a bit overpriced…but we all got a bit carried away buying things, plus it was my friend hosting her first Body Shop party so I wanted her to feel like she'd done well! At the party a strawberry sample of the butter had been passed around. It was far too sweet for my liking, but I really liked the texture and decided to buy one in another flavour. I chose Mango as I usually go for fruity, refreshing body lotions. It was £10 for a 200ml tub. Packaging The body butter arrived about a week later. I really liked the packaging, it came in a big orange round pot, with a big picture of a mango on the top of the lid, with the body shop logo on the middle and 'Mango Body Butter' written in white...

Discovery When I returned to the UK 6yrs ago, after 17yrs living in South Africa, I discovered The Body Shop! I was a devotee of their lovely, rich body lotions and butters as well as their exotic bath and shower gels, creams and oils. Then I discovered their wonderful range of aromatherapy and massage oils, shampoos and conditioners with unusual ingredients, indulgent fragrances to scent rooms and linen, luscious fruity lip balms….and the list goes on….., I am a very girly girl who adores perfume, bath and body goodies...

...Hey there, well first of all, On the body shop website they let you take a skin test in which you can fnd out which skin care product is suitable for your skin or would do your skin justice. The test is free and can be taken many times over. After doing it three times it said i was best suited to the seaweed range but being my typical self I went and purchased the Vitamin E range and Tee Tree oil range ( dont ask why, probably some rebelious thing coming from my unconscious blah blah blah) and they were okay, caused nothing but didnt infact do much.
