Wierd little bits
Advantages: Absolutely superb
Disadvantages: none as of yet
...Don’t you just hate it when something goes wrong with the car and you haven’t got the right bit to sort it, or even attempt to sort it? Such is life that this happens to me all the time or at least it used too. I still get caught out occasionally with the big expensive bits but in general for screws and those funny-headed gizmos that keep some secret part of the engine running I’ve now got them sussed.
About 18 months ago my old Rover had a problem with the distributor, and it turned out that it was a part called the igniter, which was held onto the distributor by 4 funny-headed screws. Not wanting to risk faffing about with an ordinary screwdriver and ending up with a totally botched head to the screws I shifted myself across to good old Maplin’s and coughed up my £9.99 (You can get it cheaper on the net if you...

Jonas Brothers- A Little Bit Longer
Advantages: Excellent, up beat, lovely songs
Disadvantages: not enough songs!!! double disc next time
...The Jonas Brothers are a rock/pop group, who are relatively new (a couple of years active). The band became popular because of the Disney Channel. Doing concerts in both America and Europe.
The band is made up of three brothers: Joseph Jonas: 18 years old lead singer and tambourine man, Paul Kevin Jonas: 21 years old guitar and mandolin man and Nick Jonas: 15 years old guitar, co-lead vocals, piano and drums.
"A Little Bit Longer" is the Jonas Brothers third album, the others being "The Jonas Brothers" and "Its about Time". The album is names after one of the songs which Nick Jonas wrote about his Diabetes.
They play a variety of instruments in the album "A Little Bit Longer", making the tracks vary.
The CD is brought to you be CD VU, they are pretty good as they allow you to get closer to the band. Giving you loads...

Grab a bit on the side!
Advantages: Easy to understand, some good ideas
Disadvantages: Not a very intersting topic

Bits For Your Kits
Advantages: Easy to store and loved by my kittens
Disadvantages: Only one flavour, bit expensive
...treat that can be fed at anytime.
I personally only feed them as a treat since their price warrants this. A box of Go Cat or something similar, is not much more expensive and would last quite a bit longer. The treats are very crunchy and I was a bit apprehensive about giving them to my 3 month old kittens but they have no problems with them and the feeding guide doesn’t exclude kittens.
When you’re next out prowling around the shops have a look out for them but be warned not all supermarkets stock them (my branch of Waitrose doesn’t)....

Creative Sound Blaster 24bit
Advantages: Cheap, good quality sound
Disadvantages: not enough ports
...My computer is getting on a bit, my sound card was a Creative Live 1024 and saw this card for £25 brand new and thought that's a bargain compared to other 24bit cards.
After buying the card it installed very easily and the software bundle that came with it is very useful.
I've always used creative as I find the sound quality is very good and using it for gaming you need it. This card was much better than my Live 1024 but I doubt many people would be able to notice. The card has the ability to switch between 4.1, 5.1, 6.1 or 7.1 sound. I currently use a 5.1 surround sound headset so set it 5.1 and it is fantastic.
The software bundle that comes with it is very good and easy to use. For the average home user this bundle will be more than enough to fully enjoy this card. One of the features I use the most is the media center...

XP 64bit Pro
Advantages: Increase speed
Disadvantages: Horrible to install
...Windows is world renound for its global market domination on the PC. So many of us don't have much choice when it comes to operating systems. I decided when purchasing a 64bit cpu that I would get a 64bit OS aswell to get the full advantage of the hardware. To be honest there was a very notable difference in the speed of the system, especially the boot time.
However at the moment for software, 64bit hasn't been taken on my many firms to provide drivers. This is a major problem for XP as you need to find the appropriate software driver otherwise your hardware is totally useless. With time and knowledge on your side, getting everything to work is possible. But if one piece of hardware doesn't have a 64bit driver available you end up searching for drivers for other hardware and it all becomes so very complicated. As well as drivers, some...

What is a Chifney?

A Chifney is a perculiar shaped bit that is used in conjunction with a headpiece to be used just when necessary, you put it on, use it straight away and remove it immediately. Never tie a horse up in a chifney. Unfortunately I don`t have a photo of my horse with one on. Basically if you look at the picture of the bit a above, I will explain where the headpiece goes. The headpiece is made from leather and is adjustable as it has a buckle. Once you have the right size for your horse, you don`t undo it to put it on or to remove it. The headpiece attaches to the side two rings. The leadrope attaches to the bottom ring. The top bit in the picture actually goes into the horses mouth. The headpiece then easily slips over the ears...
