I didn't think I would like this as its quite an old series and it was first broadcast in 1972 and I didn't enter the world for some 6 years after, it never really appealed to me. However, my partner loves it, so though I would give it a try.
The first season primarily introduces you to the characters in the show from the Colonel Henry Blake to Chief Surgeon Hawkeye Pearce to Company Clerk Radar O'Reilly.
A valiant attempt is made via black humour to show the team spirit that was imperative for a M*A*S*H unit to function. ...When it comes to doing reviews of music, I can focus more on the actual music of the album in a more isolated way, or the band and their previous musical efforts.
Unless you are a fan of the band, it seems pointless to write extensively about the previous work aside from drawing a comparison. So I shall review this album for "WASP virgins", who have never heard their music before. Here goes...
First, of all, the band W.A.S.P. which allegedly stands for White Anglo-Saxon Protestants, are not from the Bible belt!
This is definitely NOT Christian Rock/Metal!
Blackie Lawless (the lead vocalist) is not the name you would give to a man of virtue and purity. Quite the opposite.

The Story.....
The war is raging 3 miles from the M*A*S*H (Mobile Army Surgical Hospital), and all sorts of problems and catastrophes are going on at the good old 4077th.
The unit is run by Colonel (Dr) Henry Blake (series 1 - 3) and then Colonel Sherman T Potter (series 4 -11), both commanders are vastly different, but the comic events that each of the characters portray, are about equal - both trying to run a unit under extreme conditions, whilst keeping the men and women happy, care free and most of all sane......

...Despite seeing very few M*A*S*H episodes in my life I knew from these few that it was a television series that I would love and so when I ordered it for Christmas I also ordered the M*A*S*H film which incidentally is what the television series is based upon.
I must at this point say that I was thoroughly disappointed with the film and since watching the first two series' of the television series have become even more disappointed with it. Now I'm certain that most people will disagree with me and say that the film was brilliant and hilarious throughout but I just can't find the appeal.
Like the television series the film is based in the 4077th MASH unit and shows how they cope with the day to day burden of facing countless young men that they must put back together again and ship out to continue the fighting. Unlike...

I was surprised to find that the titles of these stories do not specifically relate to the titles of Matisse's work. It's a shame because I think this would have been a nice touch. Nevertheless I recommend this book to anyone with a love of good literature. Art is not a requirement to appreciation in this case.
