...I was once told that I was just like Marco Pierre White. Taking this as a compliment I mearly assummed that they were referring to how incredibly talented I am when working with food. Sadly this was not what they were getting at. I have recently discovered that it was more down to the fact that a lot of the time I say things which make no sense whatsoever! This is one way is what can make Marco's Hell's Kitchen so funny. I never watched it when Gordan Ramsey was doing it. But since Marco has taken over I've become completely addicted to it. Down to the fact that they've cut down the programme from what was 90 minutes to the hour, the amount of cooking where we actually got to see how they were doing it has been decreased. Appareantly due to the fact that ITV are 'skint' they couldn't afford to get any celebrities of a high standard...

...Gifts from the Kitchen ? Ann Kleinberg: I have a thing for cookbooks, I have loads of them and I love nothing more than snuggling up on the sofa and just looking through them. This particular book was a birthday present from my Mum last January and now that Christmas is here, (woohoo), it has been getting plenty of use. Gifts from the Kitchen is a very pretty and girly hardback book from marks and Spencers. It is styled in a very kitsch way with lots of pretty pictures, pink and gingham! It is the sort of cookbook that instantly makes me want to a don a pinny and morph into a 1950s house-wife! Unfortunately Space Kitchens in my opinion still live in the dark ages when it comes to sales... in my opinion they still think that pressure sales, cold calling, canvasing etc is still the be all and end all.... Not in my kitchen!

...I will come clean from the outset and tell you that this opinion is incomplete. It is incomplete in so much that I did not choose to buy my new kitchen from Kitchens Direct ,so I can?t tell you what the product and fitting are actually like ,if one went through with the fitting. My reason for writing this review is because I was so unhappy with the parts of the process we did go ahead with that I would like to warn you to think hard before giving them your hard earned cash or bank loan! We are having massive restoration work done on our Victorian house. We totally ripped out the bathroom .I designed that myself and the builders did all the work. ...Having purchased and fitted an IKEA kitchen in 1993, and being very happy with it for the next 7 years (until we moved house!), I didn't really bother looking anywhere else for my most recent kitchen. I was delighted to find that, although the narrowest (30cm wide) units have now been discontinued, the range has otherwise been improved and offers excellent value and quality. IKEA offers a very good range of basic units, all of which are customisable by adding your choice of doors, drawer fronts and interior fittings. All the ranges are, in my opinion, very reasonably priced. You'll have to get a catalogue or visit the website or store to see just what's available! ...Space Kitchens - Glasgow Where to start with this shamble of a company? I have been working with the company for nearly 6 months now. I applied for the job as it stated "Driver" on the jobcentreplus form, only to be told after the interview, you are actually going to be a salesman, guised as a "designer". What a joke!!!! The usual starts, they offer you the world, you can make £1000 a day from the commission you earn, joke!!!! Likeliness is, you will make the £50 pitch fee only. They are all friendly for the first few weeks also until they turn on you. Your training consists of sitting in a room with a fat mancunian while he talks about how he makes £100k a year, please? They could get us an unbeatable offer, with options for money back either through appearing in their magazine (up to 100% back) or by recomending them to a friend or neighbour.
