...I've had my V180 for a couple of years now, and my friends are suggesting that I ought to upgrade it. Personally, I don't really see the point. It does everything I want it to do, it makes phone calls, has a fun game and it sends text messages. I don't use it to get on the internet, or as an MP3 player, or anything like that. It's a phone, but it has extra features that I could use if I so wished. Its main funtion, for making phone calls, is well performed. I live in a fairly hilly area, and we go on holiday to places where they've never even heard of mobile phones, and yet it stil manages to find a signal somewhere. It even had two bars of signal 100 yards into a tunnel when I was on the train, which is pretty good going. The sound quality's pretty good as well, although this suffers when you use the speakerphone. Texting...

I did around 1000 miles in one trip in less than 15 hours and the engine showed no sign of fatigue. The maximum it can go is 110 miles/hour. Not very fast for a dash between signals. Its rear wheel drive, if you accelerate a bit too much on a roundabout or turn on a rainy day, you'd seem like Jeremy on Top Gear. No Air conditioner, which means you sweat like a pig in summer! around 24 miles to a gallon in city and around 30 on motorway. I can't think of any problem I had with the car apart from a routine Tracking (wheel alignment and balancing). I never had to spend a pence on repair. Overall a very good and reliable car to own. Advantages: Fast, Seaworthy, and Economical to run
Disadvantages: No cuddy cabin to get out of the weather

...The Grady White Sportsman 180 is a perfect inshore fish killing machine. I've had my 2005 Sportsman 180 since new and have had no complaints or problems in the 100 hours I have put on it. Living in San Diego, the boat is perfect for 3/4 day trips to the Coronado Islands, or further out to the 425 and other fishing spots. The boat is also easily trailered for trips down to Baja California. Lastly, adding trim tabs to the boat is like adding 2 feet to its length. The Sportsman 180 is a very seaworthy vessel and is the biggest feeling/acting boat in its class. I also want to mention that this boat powered with a Yamaha F150 4-stroke is very economical, getting nearly 5 miles per gallon at 30 knots. ...When they told me I had a C180 Classic as a company car I was a little underwhelmed. I had images of a very very basic car. When I took delivery of it I was very impressed. The things that hit me first was the feeling of build quality. It seemed to have had many years extra design time spent on it than the Espace. The road noise when driving it is minimal, when driving at the speed limit on a motor way, there is no need to raise voices to talk to the children in the back. One of the standard toys is Anti Skid control (ASR?), this is a great indicator of the road conditions, it stops you accidentaly wheel spinning on slippery roads. It can be disabled if required. C180 Would I like to buy another?

...I purchased a white C180 Elegance in Feb this year. It was an N reg 96 model. I have paid out too much for the short time I've had it though. Firstly two weeks after I had bought it I purchased a set of new alloys for it at considerable cost. I took them with the car to a local garage to fit the wheels for me. I came out £100 lighter because I had to replace the rear pads which were down the the metal!. This was the fault of the dealers who sold the car to me who said they had done a pre-delivery inspection. SO if you're thinking of buying a car from Chris Davies car sales of Chesham bear it in mind that their pre-delivery inspection is worse than useless!.Then the next thing was the remote keyfob failed. My new Baumatic Baby!!!!!

Advantages: Quiet efficiency
Disadvantages: only one shelf plus grill pan supplied

...As discussed in my previous review I bought this appliance from unbeatable.co.uk for £192.00. It is a slot in, single oven in white measuring 60cms squuare and I have to admit I panicked when I first thought about fitting it, but I have to say it could not have been easier. As it was a replacement oven I only had to remove the 4 screws from the old one and pull it out of the cabinet - it was connected to the electricity with just a normal 13 amp plug and I did wonder if this had been a bodge job (I find a lot of those in my house) but no - the fitting instructions for my Baumatic B180 stated:- 'the appliance should be wired into a 13A double pole switched fused spur outlet and placed in an easily accessed position adjacent to the appliance.' Which amazingly enough was what I had on the old one!!!! So - how easy can it be...
