My dizzy 2004

...After reading so many of others people's reviews on their 2004 I thought I'd give it a bash. Now this year has been very different from previous years as I was off sick for most of it so I apologise now if it isn't a happy read! ***January*** I actually slept my way into 2003 believe it or not! Me and my boyfriend had been shopping on the 31st of December and then we went and saw the Lord Of The Rings (yawn!) By the time we got back to his we were both really tired as we both work nights and our sleep pattern had been messed up. We were going to watch Only Fools And Horses (I think!) but we fell asleep around 9pm. We briefly woke up around 2am, said Happy New Year and went back to sleep! I worked on the 1st and did so for the next three nights. All over Christmas I had been feeling funny and I put it down to working loads...

...I?ve read a few of these reviews so I thought being as I know what you were up to last year I?d tell you what I?ve been up to! 1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before? I did loads of new things! I suppose the one thing that sticks out is going quad biking for the first time. I did it in Cornwall in February. It was a spur of the moment thing and I want to do it again but I?ve been so busy I haven?t got round to it yet! Also I crashed my car for the first and indeed 2nd time in the space of a week! The first time someone drove into the back of me at a set of lights? nothing major they just braked too late, and the 2nd time it was icy and I skidded on a roundabout and ended up on the roundabout with 2 burst tyres, that was quite funny actually when you look back on it! 2. V2004

Advantages: great bands, good weather
Disadvantages: the price of food+drink

...V 2004 at weston park in Staffordshire was my first festival, I do regally go to gigs and I've seen bands like Funeral for a Fiend, Turin Brakes, Ash, The Distillers, New Found Glory and Hundred Reasons live but I've been looking forward to the V festival ever since booking the tickets in April, back then the whole line up was not available but acts like The Strokes, Muse, Snow Patrol and The Thrills on the bill I wanted to make sure I got my weekend with camping ticket which cost £98.50 + booking fee which is a massive amount of money for me and yes it left me with a major budget for a few months. So on Friday the 20th of august - the day after I got my A Level results (which were great and i got into my 1st choice university - Keele) it was time to go, its best to go on the Friday and get your tent set up in a good place even though...

...Unreal Tournament 2003?s game engine UT2004 combines all the great features of the original Unreal Tournament with UT2003?s great engine. -Requirements The great attraction of UT1 is that you could practically run it on a ZX Spectrum. Ok, perhaps that was a little exaggerated, but you get the point. However, when UT2003 came along, the spec needed was a lot for the time. Which is why gamers have given a huge sigh of relief as the requirements have not changed that much. You need a 1GHz CPU, with 256MB of RAM to be comfortable. The HDD space however, is a little shock at 5.5GB. You need a DirectX9 compatible graphics card (Radeon 8000 / GeForce 2 or better) with at least 64MB memory. -Storyline UT2004 is set in the year 2362, the biggest tournament in the world is about to take place and you are in it. Advantages: Angle Vs. Guerrero, Benoit Vs. Orton

..., it was not a patch on their Wrestlemania encounter. It was much shorter than I thought it would be. Angle won via an anklelock on a nuncovered ankle. For people who were confused as to the finish check out my Wrestlemania 2004 review. This time Angle took off Eddie's boot and sinched in the anklelock on Eddie's unprotected ankle causing him to tap out. The match was interupted in England for about three minutes as the transmission went on the blink, so we missed three valuble minutes. I hope they give these two another match on the next Smackdown pay-per-view because I think we could get another match out of them that could be better than their Wrestlemania encounter. Winner: Kurt Angle Triple H vs. Eugene Triple H and Eugene had to follow the excellent match between Kurt Angle and Eddie Guerrero, could they follow up...

Long awaited Athens 2004

Advantages: Good graphics, realistic, fun game!
Disadvantages: Controls can b difficult to master.

...I've owned this game for little over 24hours, I'd say I know pretty much everything there is to know about the game, now that's not cos it's simple, or that it's an easy game, it's most likely cos I've played it for around 12 of the 24 hours I've owned it. THE GAME Well It's Athens 2004, so yeah it's an Olympics game.... Not all events are included in Athens 2004, so that's a downside but the main events are there. CONTROLS The controls are not simple, but once you have played for a while, they do come more naturally. For most events "x" and "o" are the buttons used to gain speed, or distance when throwing the javelin or shot put. When running this can be uncomfortable. For example the 400m sprint often proves difficult for me as you must hold "L1" to take your mark, then be quick off the release to make sure you get a quick...

Review of Challenge Idol 2004

My 2004!

Advantages: Through writing this I have seen how my life has changed
Disadvantages: There are some things I wish hadn't happened!

...Well I saw that other people had done a review of their last year and thought it was a good idea seen as mine was quite an eventful one! My 2004 got off to a good start as on new years eve 2003 I got together with my boyfriend after being with an idiot for a couple of months. Didn't think it would last very long ass we seemed to have totally different lifestyle but I have proved myself wrong - we're still together now and everything is going well. We went to Spain together twice and had a really good time - got drunk, met new people, went to a waterpark and I actuallyy went on the slides although I was very scared - but with a bit of encouragement you can do things ( i hate water you see).
