This could be confusing in the hands of a less-skilled writer, but Marian makes it seamless, and it is interesting to see the whole situation from four different perspectives. Through each woman's individual experiences, we soon discover that perhaps Paddy de Courcy is not as charming as he seems... The hardback book can look somewhat daunting at first, weighing in at 676 pages. However please do not let that put you off! From the outset, This Charming Man is an addictive page-turner. The characters are fantastically well-developed, and will make you wish you were friends with them too. A book to snuggle under a blanket with, on a rainy afternoon. Advantages: Good features and functions and of course a long zoom.
Disadvantages: Poor image qulaity at high zoom and terrible battery life amongst others.

With DSLR`s you simply buy the zoom lens you choose to put on it and this can leave basically any option open to you as long as you have the funds but with compacts or bridge cameras you are stuck with the built in zoom the lens has. We have recently been watching the zoom functions go up like the megapixels did, the typical compact used to have a 3x optical zoom which has gone up to 5x and the bridge cameras used to have around a 7x optical zoom which in some units has climbed to an impressive 18x, now welcome the Olympus SP-590 UZ with its staggering 26x optical zoom. Great for all, no matter what skill level

...Gemini are one of the world's best known mixer manufacturers, and are usually high up on the sales figure tables. This is conclusive proof of just how much they know about making mixers. In fact the 626 is the most popular 'home' mixer out there. I chose the 626 over the other possibilities after using my mates Gemini 676 mixer. The 676 is basically the same mixer, but with the addition of a sampler. Thinking that my keyboard has an on-board sampler, and the mixer has three input channels, then I figured it would be much better value to just buy the 626 and spend the other £50 on vinyl and another link cable, so I could hook up the keyboard. Each channel has a line or phono input, changable by way of a Single Pole Double Throw switch on the face of the unit. The inputs are easy to connect up and have a nice snug feel to them...

So if I told you that I've just read a 676-page novel about Irish politics, corruption, domestic violence and alcoholism you could be forgiven for thinking that it sounds like this will be another depressing review. You wouldn't immediately think 'Aha, that sounds like just the perfect thing to read on the sun-bed on my summer holidays'. And I might agree - but only because it's just out in hard-back and probably weighs more than two pairs of shoes. However, 'This Charming Man' is a great, fun read and is the ideal book to hook you in and make you incapable of doing anything other than rushing home, microwaving the cat, stroking the ready meal and neglecting your ironing until you've finished it. Unfortunately if you ate the whole box you?d take in about one and a half that amount as there are 144g in a box so sharing is a plus. They cost around £1.75 and personally as I have tasted the dark chocolate fresh mint flavour I would recommend those rather than these although matchmakers on the whole are very tasty and its difficult not to scoff the lot!...

Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance - Bloody Brilliant!

Advantages: Heart-pounding gory action with beautiful graphics

...This Charming Man is the latest best seller from successful irish author Marian Keyes. Born in West Ireland in 1963, Marians first book Watermelon was published in 1995 and she has followed it up with bestseller after bestseller. I read the large paperback version of this book and my first impressions were that this was going to be a bit of a blockbuster read at 676 pages. The RRP for this version is £12.99 but I managed to get it for free through Bookmooch so why pay more! The ISBN for the large copy is 978 0 718 14913 0 and is published by Penguin fiction. The cover of the book is purple with a silver toaster. The toaster has lots of fireworks and stars coming out of it. I am a scrubber and proud of it

Advantages: Lovely smell. Feels nice on the skin.

I was wandering around Boots the other day when I saw a particular body scrub for sale. It was the 'Mediterranean Melon Sugar Mint Body Scrub'. It was a 3 for 2 offer. As I'm making a start on my Christmas shopping (already!), the other 2 items I put away, and kept the body scrub for myself. The body scrub cost me £4.99 for a 200ml container (6.76 fl.oz.).
