The Toshiba Equium A110-233: Jack of All Trades

Advantages: Is more than adequate across the board; very easy to use
Disadvantages: As a result, it is unexceptional in most of its attributes

...The Toshiba Equium A110-233 is a very competent all-purpose computer, coming at a very reasonable price (I purchased mine online at Dixons for round about £460). The actual model itself looks stylish enough, though it lacks any particularly imaginative design flair. Suffice to say, however, that it isn't an ugly, clunky beast like some laptops to be found on the market. The screen is perfectly serviceable, with adequate resolution to handle the viewing of multimedia, and doesn't fall into the recent trend of laptops of being irritatingly minute. The processing capability of the hardware is certainly fit for purpose too - unless you plan on using memory-intensive games or image-editing software, it should satisfy your needs; certainly if you intend mostly to utilise Microsoft Office, the internet, and other software...

Compact and well built

Advantages: Small, Good build quality, Good call quality

...Having grown increasingly fed up with my old phone the svelte Samsung A110 caught my eye in my local Orange Shop. Coming in at about 3"x1.5"x1" it's certainly the smallest phone that I've ever owned. In the pack you get the phone (naturally) and two batteries, one standard battery with a claimed 70 hour standby time, and a slimline battery with a claimed 40 hour battery life. I've not gone for the ultra-geeky attitude and timed this myself, but I can say that if you're going to spend more than 24 hours away from home, then you really should be taking the larger battery with you. The phone is the flip variety, made popular by the likes of Motorola a few years back. However, unlike the Motorolas, the feel of this phone is pleasingly well built. Great quality little phone

Advantages: Well built, good functions, easy to use

...I used to have a T18, which was a good phone, but I kept on dropping it, and it broke far too easily, so I wanted a sturdy phone that still performed well, was easy to use, and fitted in my pocket without making a large bulge!! I'm pleased to say I've found all this in the Samsung A110. It's a pretty small phone (by my reckoning, 4cm wide, 8cm high, 2.5cm deep), but not so small that you lose it all the time. Visually it's silver and looks sleek due to it being a flip phone, so there's no unsighlty keys and screen. Being a flip phone also has the dual advantage of protecting the screen from scratches, and hiding the keys so you can't knock them and accidentally make calls. Talking of the buttons, they feel good under the fingers, always work, and aren't so small that they become fiddly (like certain small nokia models). The phone...

...The Panasonic A110 is my second DVD player that I have purchased. It is by far one of the most sought after DVD players on the market, and there are reasons for this. Let me start by telling you some of the features of this player. All the standard DVD player features, on screen menus etc. This player does have some things that set it apart though, try a 5-Speed Smooth Motion Scan & Slow 10-bit Video D/A Converter, 96kHz/24-bit D/A Converter, DTS Digital Out & Dolby Digital® Out, and Virtual Surround Sound. And while this doesn't sound as impressive as it did 3 months ago, it really is. There are very few DTS capable DVD players out on the market and well, this is the best priced one. I have no means to test out the DTS as I have no DTS decoder and DTS DVDs. If I had a DTS decoder I would probably try a DTS music CD but I don't have...
