Advantages: Cheap, Reliable, AMD board Disadvantages: Socket A, so wont work with Intel cpu's
...I bought my ASUS A7V333 for £85 online. It boasted many modern features, a good BIOS, and the ability to add loads of RAM.
The ASUS motherboard costs a little less than some other motherboards, mainly because it is a Socked A board. This means that the only processors it can take are AMD Socket A processors like the Athlon 1800 that I have in mine.
The board boasts the standard 5 PCI slots for all your Modem and network cards, and has the newest AGP X4 AGP slot, meaning new cards like the nVidia GeForce 4 cards can run to their full capacity.
One nice little touch on the A7V333, is that in addition to a top of the range AMD Athlon XP2200+, you could also have 3GB of PC2700 333MHZ RAM. Unfortunately since 256megs of that RAM costs about £60, i work that out to be between £500 and £600 for 3 Gigs. Ive also seen 4 fan power slots...
Advantages: Image quality is great, stable with tripod. Screen. Optical zoom. PRICE! Disadvantages: Can't focus on low light. Bit bulky. Standard battery life.
...The Samsung A7 is a nice Digital camera, perhaps even though it may be considered bulky by today's standards. It's just the right sizeto fit in your pocket but nothing else. It's pretty weighty also.
But if your the kind of person who wants to take quality pictures while inside/gardens/small trips then this is a great choice of camera. The size of the image this camera takes is great I could produce good enough images to use on A3 project paper!
It's recommended to buy a tripod for this camera unless your planning just to leave it on auto mode and use it in the sun mostly. It's very bad at picking up dark light which is my worst hate for this camera but it looks great and works a treat!
Good optical zoom and the screen is very nice. The image quality is great with the conditions correct!
Don't forget the price of this camera...
...I have an Asus A7V333 motherboard and as far as i can tell, i have had no issues with it at all. there are plenty of features, almost too many. it has a few problems, as it still uses old connections, like the AGP 4x slot, which makes it very difficult to upgrade the graphics card now. it also doesnt have sata. other than that, the motherboard is brilliant. it has 5 pci slots which were useful as i had a lot of cards. The other upgrade issue with this motherboard is that is is using an old socket type, Socket A, which makes it difficult to upgrade the processor and to find a better fan. i am also happy with the fact that it is an ATX board, so it has lots of space for upgrades, if you can find them.
This motherboard is great value for money and is a budget-board. probably good as a starter motherboard....
Advantages: New tracks, live DVD Disadvantages: Last two tracks on CD not much different from originals, few bonus features on DVD
...After four studio albums and a career spanning almost a decade, Avenged Sevenfold have released yet another fantastic CD with rare and (previously) unreleased tracks along with an accompanying live DVD.
Diamonds in the Rough (the CD) is the reason I bought the CD/DVD as I wanted to extend my collection of A7X tracks and it certainly hasn't disappointed. The CD contains mostly exclusive content with a couple of tracks from Kerrang albums and two different versions of songs from their most recent self-titled studio album.
1 Demons (previously unreleased)
2 Girl I Know (previously unreleased)
3 Crossroads (previously unreleased)
4 Flash of the Blade
5 Until the End (previously unreleased)
6 Tension (previously unreleased)
7 Walk
8 Fight (previously unreleased)
9 Dancing Dead (previously unreleased)
10 Almost Easy (Remix...
...Well, I'm sitting here at uni trying to do some revision. I thought i'd jump on ciao for a bit and see what's happening. Trying to think of what i have used lately that i could write a review about, this struck me straight in the face. I was sitting in front of this monitor and thought why not write a review of this piece of cr*p!
I mean, i generally only write about stuff i enjoy, now i can for the first time tell you about a product that is not only poorly designed, but seems to be used by a lot of my uni departments, probably because it was cheap!!! So here goes, the GNR A7 Series CM1772FS - display - CRT - 17":

Advantages: takes both SDRAM and DDRAM, jumper-free set-up, easy installation Disadvantages: none
...This week I bit the bullet, feeling flush from pay day and decided to get a new motherboard and processor, as well as new RAM to top and tail the progressive updates I had been making to my system since purchasing a Pentium III 800 MHz machine in August 2000. Having been loyal to Intel since 1995, I broke away and went for an AMD Athlon XP 1700+ (1466MHz) with 133MHz FSB, which was considerably cheaper than going for a similar spec Pentium IV.
To go with this I of course required a new motherboard, and having bought an Asus P2B which was a great board when I bought a P II in late 1998, I decided to revert to an Asus board (the system I bought in 2000 had a different make of board which died 2 months ago, and the Chaintech board with onboard sound and video was a desparate stop-gap) and plumped for the A7A266 DDR/SDR.
I chose this...
Advantages: build quality, high quality components, work performance, game and multimedia capabilities Disadvantages: weight, lack of a numeric keybord, only 2gb limit of memory upgrade
...My girlfiend has got a a7jc dual core for about a year... in her case the notebook is mostly used in architectural design and heavy vectorial software the reliability of thes machine is just mind blowing .. doing every thing that is expected and doing it well.
I have waited for the new a7jc core 2 duo 7200 and i was not desapointed.... its a work station, game machine, multimedia center all in one.
The notebook goes like a pocket rocket in aplications like autocad, 3ds 8 and other tanks to the conjugation of its processor and its extremely fast ddr2 633Mhz memory, strangely this new more powerfull version of a7jc does not over heat as mutch as the previous first gen dual core.... expecialy in the area near the point of rotation of the lcd screen. sow it apears to have been some internal modification to the cooling system.
well...

Review of ASUS A7JC
Advantages: Low cost relaible integrated motherbaord Disadvantages: DIP Switches and no support for DDR400
...I bought this board about 18 months ago to build a fairly cheap upgrade computer for a friend of mine they are a very basic user and so as most of the required devices are on-board e.g graphics / sound, this was a good choice for the price
On opening the box you are presented with the manual, a driver cd-rom, motherboard back plate, Asus Case sticker and the usual HDD and floppy cables. Oh yes did I mention the board too, nicely wrapped in an anti-static bag.
I suppose it's at this point that I should list some of the features:
333 MHz FSB
2GB Max Memory
VIA KM400 Chipset
Socket A - Athlon XP Support up to 2.25 GHz
USB 2.0
Integrated Graphics, LAN and Sound.
The A7V8X-MX SE is a good choice in my opinion, I have built numerous machines over the years and found this board very easy to work with as there is ample room...
