Advantages: Not the worst film I've seen, has all the famous Street Fighter characters

...'There is nothing to lose', released by the Dave Grohls Foo Fighters in 1999, is their latest of a string of excellent albums. This album, although maybe not as good as 'Colour And The Shape', contains a string of hits including 'Learn to fly' (#3) and 'Breakout' (#2 - which isn't one of my favourites). Grohl is, and always has been a talented song writer. 'Gimme stitches', track 4 is perhaps on of his best ever. I'm not really sure which genre they should be listed under. They somehow manage to create a mix of rock and pop in this album, which is just so much better than anything previously attempted by any other band before them. Foo Fighters' Live 'Skin and Bones'

The band were formed by Dave Grohl, the former drummer for Nirvana, in 1995. Foo Fighters - Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace

Advantages: A new Foo Fighter album
Disadvantages: Too laid-back for the traditional fan

...Here comes the sixth studio album by who many consider as one of, it not the, biggest rock band on the planet at the moment - The Foo Fighters. But how does "Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace" fair with it's predecessors? Released in September 2007 after a couple years away just playing every venue in the world it seemed, the album was greeted with great anticaption. Opening track "The Pretender" was the first single taken from the album, and despite it getting almost religiously overplayed on stations such as Radio 1 it's still worth a listen as it is a genuinely top track.
