multipurpose paper

Advantages: less than 0.4p per sheet
Disadvantages: a wee bit thin

...I've been using this paper now for a couple of years. They seem to go back and forth between a paper packet (nice and recyclable) and a film packet (horrible transparent plastic rubbish), but as at yesterday (August 1, 2007) the pack is made of paper. It costs £1.74 at the moment, and it's been about that price since I first bought it. You get 500 sheets in the pack. The paper itself is good quality for a value item. I'm not saying it's fantastic, it's a tiny bit thinner (75gsm) than I'd like but you can't expect thick, premium quality paper from a supermarket's own cheapest-you-can-buy-in-the-shops-anywhere brand. If you put two printed sheets of this paper together, you can barely make out that something's printed on the back one and that's good enough for me. Running a Used A4

Advantages: Build quality, reliability, ride & handling, comfort, practicality, fuel consumption.
Disadvantages: Servicing parts/costs

Obviously the A4 was a superior car to these older cars, but having run the car for over 30,000 miles in 2 years I have been very pleased with it. My A4 was a 2001 model 2.0 sport. It was bought from an independent dealer with 72,000 miles recorded at 3 years old. The car had a full service history, although as a fleet car it hadn't enjoyed the care and attention a privately owned car might have. I paid £8,750 for the car, and ran it for just over 2 years as a daily commuting car, with twice-weekly motorway trips. The car has been used on holidays over the UK, and during the summer on a trip to the south of France and back. Review of Audi A4 2.0

Surprisingly good results from a very cheap paper

Advantages: Dirt cheap, at approx 8p per sheet, you can't go wrong.
Disadvantages: None that I know of

...I don't do a lot printing, but for anything other than general documents, I use this paper. Tesco's 180 gsm paper used to be my paper of choice, but this comes in a great deal cheaper. To give you an idea, PC World stock HP paper very similar to this that comes in at about £7 for 25 sheets, this paper from Sumvision can be had for about £2. So, HP paper from PC World works out at about 28p per sheet, this paper is about 8p per sheet. The package is a thin plastic bag, much like magazines are often in nowadays, with card inserts to protect the paper. The bag can be opened and resealed to ensure the paper doesn't dry or become contaminated. In comparison to the Tesco paper, and I would imagine, Epson or Kodak paper too, there is little to distinguish this paper from it's rivals. Only the purist is going to notice...

A4Tech Optical 5 button 2 wheel mouse: the best!?

Advantages: Very accurate, brilliant optical on almost all surfaces, SO comfortable to use, 5 buttons, 2 wheels
Disadvantages: Not many! Only one wheel has a button though

...I've had the A4Tech WOP-35PU mouse for a long time, I remember getting it due to wishing to have an optical mouse but not spend too much, and it cost me under £10, so I was very surprised at how well it lasted, and most of all, how happy I was with the mouse. In my opinion this is the best mouse I've ever used. I used to find Microsoft Intellimice the most comfortable, but this fits in my hand perfectly and is very well designed, with easy access to use all 5 buttons, so it is very well designed. Manual-transmission quattro 1.8Ts are lively enough, while manual-transmission V6 quattros are satisfyingly quick. Lighter front-drive models feel spry with any transmission, though CVT versions are lazy from a stop. Test 1.8T CVT sedan did 8.6 sec 0-60 mph; test V6 CVT Cabriolet did 7.8. Wacom Intuos3 A4 USB Special Edition

Advantages: Improve accuracy with pen stylus, large mapping area/work space
Disadvantages: Mouse not as robust as could be

...After using an optical mouse for many years, I felt I needed a new tool to use with my design work which would give me greater accuracy and control over my work. So, after begging the boss for a 'new toy', we got the Wacom Intuos3 A4 tablet at work. It was very easy to install. It simply plugged into a USB socket on my iMac and once the installation disc had run, it was ready to go. Even though Macs come with drivers for most printers and other external accessories, I still ran the instal disc as it adds a new preference panel in the System Preference section. From here you can change the specifications for all the buttons on the tablet itself as well as on the mouse and stylus pen, along with the standard double-click speed, etc. The tablet has a work area of approximately 297 mm W x 210 mm H (A4) and has a 1:1 mapping ratio...

Audi A4 , more like AWWW D A bore

Advantages: Quick , nice door sound , MPG
Disadvantages: Low,unreliable, tiny tiny boot, big little car

The MPG is astonishing, and I can get what equates to 50 Mpg if you drive it like a Vicar , the problem is the A4 likes to be driven hard and fast rather like Vicars wives, but even when you are thrashing around like MK2 Escort on a bleak northern estate with your techno hard house banging out from your tinted windows and grounding out on every speed bump , you still get 40 mpg + . Another positive feature, and one which probably reflects on my own sad existence is the doors also make a lovely clonk sound, the noise which other countries vehicles don't seem to make , and the internal build quality is pretty good.
