A4Tech Optical 5 button 2 wheel mouse: the best!?

Advantages: Very accurate, brilliant optical on almost all surfaces, SO comfortable to use, 5 buttons, 2 wheels
Disadvantages: Not many! Only one wheel has a button though

...I've had the A4Tech WOP-35PU mouse for a long time, I remember getting it due to wishing to have an optical mouse but not spend too much, and it cost me under £10, so I was very surprised at how well it lasted, and most of all, how happy I was with the mouse. In my opinion this is the best mouse I've ever used. I used to find Microsoft Intellimice the most comfortable, but this fits in my hand perfectly and is very well designed, with easy access to use all 5 buttons, so it is very well designed. Visually, the mouse looks very professional, with a slight futuristic effect, amazingly without looking too tacky, so I'd definitely say it looks great. The buttons themselves are reasonably light in touch to use, but not too light to accidently knock (the only slight problem being a very slight tendancy to knock the left side button by...

Review of A4Tech Wheel 3D Mouse SWW-23 - mouse

A viper for the price of an EarthWorm

Advantages: Extreme grip and ease of use
Disadvantages: some time to get used to it.

...A4Tech is know for their budget performance gadgetry. Some products can surprise you and others can blow your mind. This mouse is apart of the "others" I must mention, that I own the BF of this mouse. Its basically the same, but has different "skin". Now, of the mouse itself. As it is a gamer mouse, it has a wire. And that wire is thin, so watch out for yanking it. But the mouse works. And amazingly well. Just take it out of the box and hook it up to your computer. It will work almost instantly. And no drivers are required. If you wish to customize your mouse, eg make it more sensitive, give other commands for the buttons, then the small CD, that comes with it provides many features. The main feature is the driver. Called A4Tech Smart-X7 7.80, it provides the functions mentioned above. The others are manuals...

Wireless Optical Mouse

Advantages: Never loses connection, comfortable to use
Disadvantages: Wire from board sometimes gets in the way

...What is it? The A4Tech batteryFREE Wireless Optical Mouse is a wireless mouse that runs on a board. This board interacts with a computer via its wire. The board is optical and when the mouse is placed on it, they connect optically, allowing the mouse to work. Looks: The mouse and board look average, and are nothing spectacular. The board is silvery greay, with a black base and thick edge at the top. The logo 'A4TECH' is on the head of the board, the mouse and the bottom corner of the board. The wire is thin and black. The mouse itself is mainly black, with a transparent silver band running in a U shape around its edge. On top of the mouse there is a line of this same trasnparent silver plastic, where the gap between your index and middle finger lies. In the centre of this strip there is a white opaque plastic scroll button...

Great mouse

Advantages: Reliable, small size, energy saving (A4 Tech MOP-35)
Disadvantages: not works on all surfaces

...The first look on the title of the product actually confused me. A4 TECH is a manufacturer of computer peripherals from Taiwan and in fact independent to Logitech. I had my A4 TECH mini mouse (model MOP-35PU) when I bought my laptop. It has been proved that this delicate mouse is the best mate of laptop if you don't like to have a big suitcase but still want to use external mouse instead of touchpad or trackball. This make the operation including web surfing much easier. The mouse use a LED device to locate and detect the movement. It is dubious that somebodies claim it as 'laser' mouse, but you should keep in mind that don't stare at the optical device directly since the light is so strong and can be harmful to your eyes!!! The manufacturer claim it can work on almost all surface although I found it actually doesn't work...

Review of A4Tech mouse

A must for all ciaoers.

Advantages: Free to move where you want, angled to avoid RSI
Disadvantages: Batteries need replacing often.

...had previously become loose and was a bit tempreamental and the thoughts of removing all the keys to clean up the keyboard was just too much to bear. So off to our friendly independant we went. Unfortunately he was out of stock so on to Staples we ventured. Staples had a good selection at varying prices. I saw a very nice one for £85 but just could not justify buying it. Then I spotted the A4 Tech Wireless keyboard and Mouse. At a few pennies under £15 it was around one of the cheapest and it is also the A frame design that I wanted. So, why this one...... *~*~*Wireless keyboard *~*~* For a start the keyboard is wireless. This is handy if like me you can't stand wires all over the place. They don't all get tangled down the back, or caught behind the tower. One other reason I like a wireless keyboard is that it is easier to...

A Perfect Everyday, Gaming & Work Mouse

Advantages: Cheap & Reliable. Does everything a good mouse should.
Disadvantages: None

...Advantages:- - Cheap - Good lengh mouse cord - Good resolution, perfect for high detail image editing - Not 'sticky' rubbery plastic underneath so glides easily on any surface Disadvantages:- - None - is five years old and still going strong Other:- I hace an all silver one. The back glows when moved due to the optical laser. I don't think it came with a USB connection/convertor, just PS/2. Don't use on shiny surfaces - won't work properly; but then again, nor will any optical mouse (it reflects the laser). I have marked it average resonse as it's times are fine, but it isn't like some cheap mice I've had where it darts instantly across the page. One's hand rests comfortably on it, perfect when gaming for long periods of time - it's suitable for either big or small hands. It is also not aimed at either a left...

Review of A4Tech SWW 35 - mouse

Read me before I run away

Advantages: Infrared and cheap to buy
Disadvantages: The size

...When I purchased my PC a few months ago off a dodgy computer company on a website, I had the choice of upgrades and being me with my toys I like the sound of an infrared mouse. So here I am. The standard mouse does the job but there is just no real excitement to it. It is constantly being used by the user to do numerous of things, clicking here and there, scrolling up and down and moving any which way possible. Manufacturers have realised this potential and put onto the market a whole range of different types of mice. I went for the A4 Tech, as it was only a pound upgrade. At the time I didn?t know what features it had or even what it looked like but I thought I couldn?t go wrong. When I received it along with my PC I was quite impressed. Especially when I knew it was a fairly cheap model. The mouse itself is a green...

Review of A4Tech mouse

set yourself free from the desk

Advantages: wireless, recharging system built iin, looks good, hardwearing
Disadvantages: none

...This is the keyboard set I?m using at the moment ,and have been using for some time to be truthful. It was recommended by my resident geek who is incredibly useful to know. A4 are a worldwide manufacturer of computer peripherals: specialising in keyboard, mice, and controllers and have been operating since 1987. The keyboard and mouse are both wireless and both share the same receiver which also doubles as the battery charger for the rechargeable batteries. It takes 2 x AA in the mouse and a further 2 x AA in the keyboard. The receiver has 2 keyboard and 2 mouse channels so it is possible for you to use 2 identical sets without them interfering with each other. Because the receiver recharges the batteries you are never in the position of having none charged up. As you take the old set out of the mouse and replace them...

Review of A4Tech Rechargeable Wireless Desktop Ergo A-shape Keyboard & Optical Mouse KBS-2348RP - keyboard , mouse

I'm on my bed writing this review......

Advantages: Smart Design, Attractive, Long Battery Life
Disadvantages: No optical mouse, rather large reciever

...Since i've had this keyboard and mouse, my life has been much simpler. Like i say with the subject, its so good i can write this review lying on my bed..... I firstly have to point out that I don't use the mouse for general use, as i'd preferred it to be optical for all the online gaming I do. Looks: Keyboard: The keyboard looks and feels great. It is set out in a comfortable manner, and has a nice curved shape to the top. The colours used are rather plain (Grey and Blue) but work well together. The keyboard is well designed, and basically does exactly what a keyboard is supposed to do..........work. Mouse: The mouse seems to use a different colour scheme to the keyboard, coming across more blue than grey. It looks stylish, and fits well into the hand. It has a small wheel in between the two buttons, which also doubles as...
