...The time has come my A800 took its final texts and calls today as its being replaced by a new samsung e700. So i thought what is the best way to send my phone off to phone heaven than to give it its own review. The A800 is one of the smallest phones around and fits in the palm of your hand. Its snappy silver exterior makes it very appealing to the eye one of the main reasons that i purchased it. Upon opening the phone you come across a blue screen and for a small phone quite a well spaced key pad. The menu bars are so easy to navigate between and within a few minutes you already know how to operate it. The A800 comes fully WAP enabled (this is not as easy as it looks and many times i thought it was just easy to come on to my internet on the pc) however some ofmy friends say they couldnt live without their wap. A nifty little phone - Samsung A800

...I first made the decision to purchase the Samsung A800 out of pure necessity for a phone. I had always gone for cheaper brands of mobile phone such as old, heavy Nokia models but as they always ended up breaking after about a year I decided to go for a more stylish model. I brought the Samsung A800 after it had been on the market for a good few years and so the price was substantially less than when it was the latest model. My views of the Samsung A800

...These are my personal views regarding the Samsung A800. This phone was my fourth mobile before I purchased the new E 700-the newer version to this phone. The two phones run virtually the same, just a few little differences in the way things are displayed. The Samsung A800 was the best phone I had the pleasure of having until I got the newer version. I had no problems with it whatsoever-never scratched (unlike the new phone) and signal quality was brilliant. The phone is also very small and easily fits in the smallest of pockets, because of its sleek design. There are also numerous other features that make it a worthwhile purchase. Bigger isn't always better! SGH-A800 'REDUX'

...the direction of certain phones, he had obviously forgotten that I had asked for advice! I can actually read the displays: I was after a phone that was comparable to the S100 or so ? I wasn?t too interested in a colour screen or the ability to upload photos from the computer etc. The young lad pointed me towards the Nokia?s and said everyone normally got those! I thanked him for his assistance then went to look at the upgrade phones for myself. What caught my eye was the Samsung SGH-A800! And already a happy Samsung owner I looked at it properly. It is about 1/3 smaller than the S100 quite sexy looking with a flashy thing on the front! And its silver OO! Looks good! When you open the flip top you have a nice black and white screen, the buttons are quite small (So no good if you have huge hands) the layout is exactly the same as the S100...

The last op I wrote was on the Motorola T720I, and what a piece of junk that turned out to be. Bits fell off it, the battery packed in and a badly designed, poor excuse of a phone died. So I got thinking... this time I was going to think about my future phone, and not buy on impulse the most feature-packed thing I could find. After much thought, I settled on this, the Samsung A800. It's small with all the right curves in all the right places. I hate the phrase "aesthetically pleasing", (because most people use it only to show off) but this phone really is. Advantages: Very good compact camera.

.... . The name is A800, meaning 8 mega (meaning Million) pixels. The maker, Fujifilm, they have been in the business for a lot of years. They have a web site especially for digital cameras, look on here:- http://www.fujifilm.co.uk/ The list of spec is quite impressive, including a new type of "Mode dial" this is a good feature for quickly selecting modes. These cameras really are a doddle to use, and if you can handle a simple instamatic, then you will have no trouble with this one. I would recommend them for anyone, experienced or not. If you have not seen these digital cameras, then you will not be familiar with the LCD display. You will soon get the hang of it, it is simply a screen which acts as both a viewfinder, and a display for all the info you need to see. You no longer have to remember which setting the thingummy jig is...
