Advantages: easy to use, basic camera with great results
Disadvantages: bit too basic for professionals

...outline. The quality of photos on the computer screen and printed look very professional. The shutter release is quick although not as quick as the A900. The A820 does have a fast shutter speed which makes it a lot easier to capture sporting moments, moving objects and action shots. The fast shutter is very useful for catching children in PE and children that won't sit still…I can imagine this being a good cheap camera for parents, especially at sports day. The main advantage of this feature is that photos can be taken on the spur of the moment. The camera has 4x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. Using both zoom features you are able to zoom in much closer, producing an amazing quality photo. I have found in the past that when using the zoon the quality is compromised. When using the A820 the quality was good when using the zoom feature... Read review
