Therefore if used in Europe it will be necessary to use a separate plug adaptor. One of the downside of this charger is that it does take quite a long time. In fact to charge just two of the four AA type 2500AH batteries that this charger comes with will take over eight hours. These batteries can be recharged over 1,000 times making them excellent value for money. Overall I think that is a nice little battery charger that was definitely well worth the money. Recommended. the intelligent battery charger.

Advantages: Cheap, reliable, long lasting, reasonable price.
Disadvantages: Still gets warm. Plastic plug = breakable?

..., and another point it isn't extremely slimline, but as I have to mention not too bulky. ---BUY FROM--- PC world at around £15.00 which isn't too bad considering you aren't going to be forever buying Duracell batteries at £4 a time. The only downside though is people say you shouldn't use these batteries in wireless keyboards or mice, but I never have a problem with them. Or for you online shoppers you can get it at the bargain price of £13.99 including delivery on www.play.com. Which is the cheapest price I've seen it at. When it first came out I paid nearly around £18-20 for my charger. However now most camera's and devices can work quite happily off AAA batteries, but it's not always a downside as you can buy the AAA rechargeable batteries in replace of the AA. ...Hi today I will be reviewing Energizer AA 2500 mAh Rechargeable Batteries. Price You can buy these from Amazon for cheapest £7.05 I got them for £10 from B&Q and I got a charger as well. Life I recommend fully charging these for first time use. I put them on for a day. From the full charge I managed to get a week use out of them. I use them in my Xbox 360 Controllers which are used by me and my brothers so they were on for most of the week. Charge While using the official charger for this product it takes around 6 hours to charge fully (Overnight). Size I find that these batteries are a little larger than the usual AA batteries because in my Xbox controller when I first got them in they took quite a lot of force to get them out again. Uniross AA rechargable batteries

...I first came across this brand when I needed batteries more suited to my camera than ordinary, non-rechargeable AA batteries (as mentioned in my previous review). They were recommended to me by the cashier as reliable and perfect for what I needed them for, as they're good for longevity. I thought maybe these were the most expensive and that's why they were recommended, but they were about £25 for 4, which was cheaper than some other brands of the same description on display. I have since looked online and found both the batteries and the charger I use for a cheaper price, try amazon.co.uk and dell.com. The first time I used them, they lasted a good couple of weeks, alternating use between my camera and CD player. They proved especially useful in my old CD player, which usually stops mid-song, and I'll have to re-adjust the batteries...

I bought this charger last year because I bought a wireless mouse and keyboard so made more sense getting rechargeable batteries rather than spending money on normal batteries every few weeks. I went with Uniross as they make decent rechargeable batteries and are well known for it. This x-press 300 charges AAA, AA & 9V size batteries. It lets you charge 2 or 4 AA/AAA and one 9V batteries of the same type at the same time. It's suitable for AA, AAA and 9V (PP3) NiCd and NiH batteries. After hunting down several models I narrowed it down to this 1 hour charger (model no. AAB04541-3) which charges both AA and AAA batteries, either two or four at a tiime. ...not illuminate when plugged in. AA batteries just slot in but a lever has to be flipped down so the smaller AAA batteries fit into the charger. When the batteries are fully charged the green light will go out and the charger will stop charging so it is impossible to over charge and damage the batteries. The charger comes with a 3 pin plug that can be slid off, the 2 prongs underneath can be pulled down and then the charger can be used in America. It would have been nice to have a European adapter to attache on like the 3 pin plug as it is aimed at the traveller. Charging times vary depending on the power of the batteries. Good battery charger for it's price

Most battery chargers cost a lot more than this one did (I bought this one for about £12, from Amazon), so it was good to get a deal on it. The package includes the charger itself, 4 AA batteries and a car adapter, so you can charge your batteries in the car. The batteries are easy to insert, there are two spring-loaded extensions that spring out. These are so you can charge AAA batteries as well, and they fold away when you're charging AA batteries. I find that charging batteries doesn't take very much time at all, I just leave them in for a short while and after a short while the red light turns green to show that the charge is complete. ...Here it is, the solution to the hassle of constantly swapping out batteries from the xbox 360 controller's battery pack. This product will definitely save you money as you'll be spending much less on AA batteries especially if you play your 360 a lot. This battery pack however is absolutely useless without the recharging chord or recharging dock.
