...I like movies and I like freebies, so when you get offered both in one swoop you?re bound to accept! I used my two week free trial with this company and remained with them for a couple of monthsbefore moving on to try many other companies free trials (and winning a new DVD player on Tesco DVD rental site on their free trial offer). I then had an email from DVDs 365 asking me to go back, and offering me a free DVD if I did so. I had just left Tesco (with my new DVD player) so I chose to go back with them.

Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54
Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.
...At first I wasn't convinced by up-scaling DVD player technology but was persuaded after reading an article in "What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision" magazine. Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied.
On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. All the components such as cables, remote and manuals were well presented in their own protective plastic bags, to keep them protected. The player...

Gospel Roots Aaron Neville
Advantages: good mix of music
Disadvantages: absolutely none!
...I could not, even if I tried, write anything negative about this double CD featuring Aaron Neville.
This man's voice is phenomenal and wonderfully unique.
He is originally from New Orleans and has a wonderful New Orleans Rhythm and Blues sound. His voice will reach your inner being every time he opens his mouth and a note comes out!
There is a wide spectrum throughout this particular collection. We have the up-tempo and foot-tapping beat of 'Oh happy Day' & 'I saw the light' to the sultry, moody sound of 'Ave Maria' and 'Amazing grace.'

Get Freaky With Him (All He Wants Is A Little)
Advantages: Consistent bangers

...In 1993 Aaron Hall, the former member of the New Jack Swing group Guy, released his debut album ?The Truth? following the disbandment of them in 1991. With Teddy Riley and Timmy Gatlin both having done their solo thing earlier, he felt it was himself to do the same and show that his work alone is as good a quality.

To get you into the feel of Aaron Hall?s music, and to find what the man is about you have him on some beats which show that he is taking heavy influence from the sounds which were prominent in the type of club tunes which Hip Hop was producing at the time and so with him singing at his best, the combination of this and the fly beats mean that it appeals to all audiences; male and female.

Duplicate ''Power of Now!!''
Advantages: its ok but repeats what the origanal book says

...This book is pretty much a duplication of Tolles first book ''The Power of now'' and while I'm a huge fan of Eckhart's books I found this publication dissapointing because of the duplication issue.
The premise of the book is annotating the important pieces of information from the original and personally I found the whole experience pointless.
I really wouldn't bother purchasing this book and if you're a Tolle fan try ''A New Earth'' which is awesome to say the least.

If however you are new to this genre or are interested in readingTolle's books you should try his first book ''The Power of Now'' which as with ''A New Earth'' can be a thoroughly liberating experience.

Discover your True Nature

...As an avid fan of Eckhart Tolle and pretty much a follower of this type of path to enlightenment I waited in anticipation for this, his newest book. A New Earth is essentially a book that combines all idea's from his previous publications and ties up a few loose ends which haven't been addressed before.
The details and Tolle ethos is based around our inability to enjoy life because we fail to live in the present moment and will usually choose to dwell on past events or be consumed by our future goals.
Essentially what Tolle is showing us is that we spend too much time thinking about the world outside opposed to becoming conscious of what's going on inside of us.
And if you watch yourself carefully you will find this to be true!!
This preoccupation with the past and future occurs because unlike the rest of nature we have...

...My recent quest for FREE DVD hire I visited and many DVD web sites that offered a free trial. Now call me tight (no that wasn?t an invite), but I like bargains and freebies and am not ashamed to say so.
My quest took me to enough sites to hire DVDs for about four months so far (with plenty to come too). My latest free DVD site also happens to be the best I have tried for several reasons (see rest of op); the site in question is Blockbuster.co.uk.
Other sites that I have had free rentals from and then cancelled have all been similar, two weeks free trial with two DVD?s per time ? which in effect gives you about four free DVD?s. With Blockbuster?s things are different slightly ? which add a great deal of benefit to us the customer. Firstly, you get FOUR whole weeks free rental, which equates to at double the length of time most...

Aaron's best 2002 release

...Snares delivers another mind-bending album.
Back in 2001, Snares delivered 3 interesting albums: Making Orange Things, Songs About my Cats and Doll Doll Doll. If it wasn't for the first 4 tracks, you could forget about Making Orange Things alltogether. Songs About my Cats and Doll Doll Doll, on the other hand, are masterworks.
In 2002, Aaron would release 3 more albums: This one, 2370894 and Winter in the Belly of a Snake.
But Higgins Ultra Low Track Glue Funk Hits is Aaron's 2002 gold nugget.
H.U.L.T.G.F.H is an extention on Doll Doll Doll's abrasiveness and Songs About my Cat's cleverness.
H.U.L.T.G.F.H features 10 tracks and the total running time is of 56 minutes approx. The cover and inlay design have some kind of primitive charm and closely resemble his next album's cover. Ben Curzon designed all of this.
