Acer Extensa 5620-1A2G12Mi
Review of Acer Extensa 5620-1A1G12Mi - Core 2 Duo T5250 1.5 GHz - 15.4" TFT by
techno_man_37
Advantages: great spec, better price.
Disadvantages: could look a little better
...This laptop is the Acer Extensa 5620-1A2G12Mi. The extensa is a new model from acer and although they have been working on it for over a year now it wasn’t until a few months ago that these laptops went on sale. I still don’t think that it’s a brand of acer laptops that most people will be familiar with yet however I think it will grow and they will get better and more and more people will buy them just like what happened with the travel mate and the aspires.
Its basically a follow up from the Acer aspire however the aspires were made mainly to keep at home and for a laptop to use around the house. These new extensa models though are not only made or that but also incorporate the design specification of the older travel mate models so that they are also quite portable so really it gives you the opportunity to use your...

Review of Acer Extensa 5620-1A1G12Mi - Core 2 Duo T5250 1.5 GHz - 15.4" TFT by
techno_man_37
Advantages: lots of uses
Disadvantages: design hasnt changed much
...This laptop is from the leading laptop manufacturer at the moment which is Acer. They have only recently in the past few years become better known for their laptops and desktops and because of their good customer service great laptops and all at a cheap price they are now at selling other companies like dell and Sony at laptops.
This one is the Acer Extensa 5620-1A1G12Mi. The Acer extensa is a really new model of laptop from Acer and there have already been quite a few introduced by Acer in the past month. They have been working on this new type of laptop for quite a while now and there will be a lot more laptops to come out of the extensa model.
Its basically a follow up from the Acer aspire however the aspires were made mainly to keep at home and for a laptop to use around the house. These new extensa models though are not only...

why acer are outselling dell
Review of Acer Aspire 4920-1A2G12Mi - Core 2 Duo T5250 1.5 GHz - 14.1" TFT by
techno_man_37
Advantages: cheap, great spec
Disadvantages: could have better processor
...come up with and kept, and it clearly represents their company. a lot of laptops from other manufacturers just look the same as others and you cant tell what brand they are, this however, much like the look of apples imacs you can tell they belong to which company.
Only weighing 2.7 kg this is quite good for taking on the move as well. It also has a 2.5 hour battery life, which is pretty good but if you do want a laptop specifically designed for portability then this probably isn’t the best bet.
The keyboard is of a nice size, and the keys feel a nice size and quite spaced out too. This makes it a lot easier to type and you make a lot fewer mistakes then on a lot of laptops where the keyboards are just too small.
This laptop has a Intel Core 2 Duo T5250 / 1.5 Ghz processor, this is quite a budget dual core processor, however...

another great laptop from acer
Review of Acer TravelMate 6292-302G16N - Core 2 Duo T7300 2 GHz - 12.1" TFT by
punker123
Advantages: fast cheap
Disadvantages: could have more ram like the travelmate 6292 302
...on this is a massive 5 hours, this is proably due to the smaller screen.
as well as a wireless lan arial built in, this laptop also has a wireless Bluetooth aerial which is very handy for sharing photos and videos from your phone to your laptop.
the processor is an Intel Core 2 Duo which is one of the fastest and is runs the 1gb of installed ram like a dream. another thing to mention is that the ram can be upgraded to a massive 4gb for those users who use demanding programs.
this laptop has an huge 160gb hard drive, so is proably alot more than most would fill, and it even has a 5 in 1 card reader.
however if you want a fster laptop but want the samee look as this acer, get the acer travelmate 6292 302 because it looks exactly the same but just has an extra 1gb of ram.
this laptop is a great buy if your always on the go, the battery life is great...

...Acer Extensa 5210, DDR2 512MB, 80GB HHD, 1.6ghz Celeron processor, WLAN, DVD writer:
My laptop came with a Windows Vista basic installation. (For those who would like to instal Windows XP your warrant may fly through the window. I needed to get XP SATA drivers on floppy to install XP...and also changed the bios version (refer to instruction on acer website).
Anyone purchasing it will notice that it has a blue tooth adapter sliding switch on the front face, only that I did not realise at first glance that there was actually no bluetooth adapter inside. One has to buy an external bluetooth adapter to use with this laptop...but the laptop has bluetooth capability...only no internal BT adapter.
Overall perforemance: good...

acer travelmate 5720
Review of Acer TravelMate 5720G-302G16 - Core 2 Duo T7300 - 15.4" TFT by
techno_man_37
Advantages: portable
Disadvantages: could have more memory
...This laptop is another one from the acer travelmate range .
Acer as a laptop company are beginig to grow, and they are now just as well know as a lot of others, but then I first saw then in shops, my first impression, and the impression of others I asked was they seemed a bit of a cheap brand, just like netto is compared to Sainsbury's. however acer have somehow seemed to change peoples minds and even managed to change my mind somehow.
If you want something sturdy, with a solid specification and in a mid price range of around £500, yet you could get one a lot cheaper now on eBay. Then this laptop could be for you.
Its Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 processor runs at 2GHz which is pretty good, and its has 1 gb of ram too. This makes it a lot faster than a lot of other laptops with only 1 gb of ram though because its processor is so quick...

Well this is my opinion of this great laptop and it is a great laptop indeed and it is so cheap as well - a bargain price if you ask me, and delivers well for such a cheap price. It has a good battery life with an amazing dual - core processor.
Acer was a brand name which I haven't really heard of, as maybe you haven't as well, but they definitely set a great example of cramming a lot of technology into a portable laptop without it costing a bomb like other leading brands.
The speed of this laptop is absolutely great! Without doubt it's definitely the core duo processor...
