Acer Aspire One - my favourite toy!
Advantages: easy to use, small and light, long battery life
Disadvantages: Comes with rubbish software pre-installed, can be slow when multi-tasking
...Since my boyfriend got a laptop last year I've spent most evenings complaining that his laptop is permanently glued to his lap. I think this might have been the reason that he was generous enough to surprise me with this little gem late last year.
The Aspire One was released by Acer in June 2008 and has become one of the most popular netbooks on the market. The D255 is a newer version...

Acer Aspire V3-571 G laptop Fast and value for money
Advantages: High stats, great qualtiy of web cam, can do high power games or music apps or multitasking well
