Acer Aspire One - my favourite toy!

Advantages: easy to use, small and light, long battery life
Disadvantages: Comes with rubbish software pre-installed, can be slow when multi-tasking

I think this might have been the reason that he was generous enough to surprise me with this little gem late last year. The Aspire One was released by Acer in June 2008 and has become one of the most popular netbooks on the market. The D255 is a newer version of the 532h and D260 which are exactly the same in hardware, however the D255 comes with new software including the Windows 7 Starter Pack. What does it look like? The Aspire One is everything a netbook should be to look at. It is small, light and compact - easy to carry around comfortably without taking up too much space in a bag. Acer Aspire ONE D255-2DQkk

Advantages: easy to take around, lightweight, fast

Acer Aspire One to forget?

...Review on Acer Aspire One This nifty little machine was the first laptop ever too come home with me. I bought it from John Lewis for £125 and i have too say it is extremely useful for the whole family. My nephew is addicted to some of the games that come pre-installed onto it. My Daughter uses it to go on facebook, talk to her friends, basically socialize. My Wife uses it to spend all my money online ;) and i use it too catch up on my e-mail and work. Hard Drive The Amount of space on this tiny little laptop is phenomenal, I can store thousands of my songs, movies, photos, e-mails, just everything you need to store it can be fitted onto the vast hard drive space available.
