Acer Aspire One - my favourite toy!
Advantages: easy to use, small and light, long battery life
Disadvantages: Comes with rubbish software pre-installed, can be slow when multi-tasking

Acer Aspire 5738Z - a surprise gem of a laptop!
Advantages: Value for money, comfortable keyboard, widescreen
Disadvantages: lack of USB ports, tricky to open on occasions
...and watching films/catch-up TV. I am not a gamer and only occasionally use Skype although with the built in webcam that this laptop boasts I am starting to use it more purely due to the ease.
