Ace laptops by Acer, I have got an acer aspire 5315 laptop with an intel celeron processor, 64MB graphics, 512MB RAM, 15.4'' screen, 80GB hdd, built in wireless and a dvd super multi re-writer drive. It is very well designed when it comes to style with its acer pebble design and it is very dependable. I am very pleased with my laptop and what makes this all way better in my opinion is the price that you can buy acer laptops at. My laptop for example only costs around £300 in the shops and still is good enough to withstand all the stuff i do on it ranging from browsing the web to programming software in visual basic or visual c++ and even has proved itself well capable of playing games well which many computer gamers would never expect of a computer with only 64mb graphics and a proccessor that is not dual or quad as you can now... Advantages: cheap, good quality laptop with decent features, upgradable.
Disadvantages: no bluetooth. memory will need upgrading if moving on to Windows Vista

...time I have used it for a lot of typing. The touch pad is very sensitive and only needs a gentle touch to work. It also has a drive for things like your phone SD memory cards or camera memory cards which again very handy if like me forever taking pics of the kids with the phone... The multi screen use is very handy and I find it quite useful if you are trying to research stuff or do comparisons on things to buy etc (I forgot to say it has Acer Gridvista-Multi screen resolution Oops!) .... There are two stero speakers on this front, and you can control the volume using short cut keys on the key board or by clicking on Volume control once logged in. Watching a DVD or TV gives pretty decent sound, especially considering it's a laptop and i don't know much about sound quality on Laptops as i've only used 2 (this being my 2nd!). ::::SPECIFICATIONS AND VALUE:::: The Price for this excellent laptop was just £365, including delivery, from EmpireDirect.co.uk. ...travelmate 7512's hard drive space. They probably upgraded this to 160 GB because 80 GB wasn't really enough for most people. However I must say iv never been able to fill any laptop of mine with over 160 GB of data, however there may also be people out there who'll go through 160gb easily. If you do need more storage, you can easily use memory cards by pushing them into the laptops 5 in 1 card reader, which reads any of, SD Memory Card, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO, MultiMediaCard, xD-Picture Cards. Also you can easily burn data onto disks using the travelmates DVD±RW (+R double layer) / DVD-RAM - integrated compact disk player, and burner. Its great to see this acer has a 17 inch screen too, seen as a lot of other acers only had 15.2 inch screens. Another extra feature this laptop has is its built in webcam.
