...is the notebook manager icon which allows you to view all the hardware features of the laptop in one click, from volume to drives to screen. This is very useful and saves time. The screen is large, highly defined and bright. The keyboard could be slightly larger and is slightly curved to be more ergonomic. I am not convinced about this but the curve is slight and takes little getting used to. The Acer 803LMi laptop is currently the best priced M chipped processor with a DVD-RW drive. It is extremely fast and with Wi-fi, firewire, 4x USB ports highly connectable. In order to look after it I also purchased an extended 3 year warranty including accidental damage so if I have any problems they will collect, repair and deliver it. This cost £116 inc vat but I beleive from experience it is money well spent.... Read review

...Though I'd update this a bit seen as the Genetics department at the John Radcliffe Hospital has finally managed to do a bit more research into both my boys condition. I had never come across this condition before until my eldest son (5) was diagnosed with the condition at birth. He was critically ill at birth and spent the next 10 days in the Special Care Baby Unit, having blood transfusions, and getting a suntan under UV lights. My second child (13 months) was also diagnosed with the same condition at birth, he thank goodness was not as seriously ill as his older brother. I have to add that not every baby born with this condition will react the same way as my children did. ...I thought I would give A Taste for Death a go as it has been sitting on my book shelf for a couple of years. I have to say I have a few of PD James' books and have never found them that engrossing, and much prefer Agatha Christie's novels and short stories. As a result I didn't hold out much hope but with little else to read I took the time to start reading. First off I have to say I am glad it was one of the Commander Adam Dalgliesh series, as it is a character I have heard of and enjoyed from the Martin Shaw and Roy Marsden TV series. The basic premise of the book is a double murder in the vestry of St Matthew's Church, one of the victims is a tramp and the other is an government minister, Sir Paul Berowne. ...I Bought my Hitachi 42PD5200 from www.247electrical.co.uk for £2268.99 (With p+p) as i wanted the pay 12month later option. I had spent a long time looking around the net on various sites that review Plasma and as it had won a collection of awards i bought the hitachi. The tv is great looking and the picture is excellent quality when used with Dvd or Sky + though nowhere near as impressive using the standard ariel connected tv channels (Not sure if its as using a ariel extention or not) Sound quality is also brilliant nice crisp sounds and good bass with its srs trubass sound. The remote is nice looking designed though can get a little confusing as im new to it with all the buttons ! ...I have had the 1.9 TDI PD(130) now for 8 months, My first reason for purchasing the vehicle was to pull our family caravan- which it does with great ease. After 8 months the feelings toward sthis car have become a bit more passionate, the ride is so comfortable that the family can rest or even sleep on long journeys, there is no or very little external noise and it is truly a pleasure to drive. I travel 800 miles a week just commuting to and from work, the comfort is a godsend on my delicate back and therefore making driving to work a pleasure, even though my journey is 98% motorway i still managed to atain between 52% and 55% MPG. The downside is the service costs, luckily i have a friend who runs his own registered garage so i can lower my costs a bit, especially on a cam belt change at £560.00. ...I have owned the Sharp vl-pd3h camcorder for about a year now, mainly used for family BBQ's and the odd day trip out. (havn't caught any UFO's yet !!) First impressions of the camera are of a good quality product, fits nicely in the hand. The main off,camera,vcr control button has to be "pressed" then rotated to the position you want. The menu of options is very comprehensive, if a bit confusing at first. As with most things, "if you dont use it enough you tend to loose it " Flip out the viewscreen, hit the record with thumb and your away. I've used the camera mostly on full auto mode (as most people will) but there are a range of manual overrides to correct certain lighting conditions, eg backlight compensation, and very bright conditions where the iris size can be reduced / or adjustable shutter speed can be selected. Advantages: cheap, good quality laptop with decent features, upgradable.

...First off what an easy to use laptop full of built in features for a very reasonable price ( £349.99 upwards) was £380 when i purchased mine but is worth every penny. Why people pay in excess of £500 for machines with a lower spec is beyond me. Acer have come a long way in providing great quality laptops at a lower price. on first run you follow the setup options and then it recommends you create a restore disc i did this using 2 blank dvd's with ease just following the on screen instructions. once this was complete i did the windows updates to get it fully upto date. The inbuilt wireless adapter (Atheros AR5005G Wireless Network Adapter) connects so easy to my wireless network with a reasonable range even in the garden. The 15.4" WXGA wide CrystalBrite TFT LCD Display is just as good as its name suggests (crystal) it displays... Read review
