...for most people. It has a built in webcam too which gives quite a good picture. The mouse could be better, it goes a little mental at times but nothing to worry about and it does its job. The keyboard is fine and easy to use. Battery life is not fantastic, mine lasts about 2.5 hours. Its lightweight too. Though a largish laptop, its quite portable due to its weight. What I also like is its fast start up and turn off. Very nice. Its easy to use too. Vista runs smoothly. The machine cost me £379 at PC world, refurbished. I couldnt have got better for the price and specifications given. You wont find 4 gb RAM and core due 2 processor with 250gb hard disk at this price. I dare you to try. Maybe in a few years. Marbleous mouse

Advantages: comfortable, smooth, hard wearing, 3 yr guarantee

You will find these are available anything from about £5 or so plus the £1 up for the mouse mat. My advice? Better than the first but can still do better TRACKBALL MICE These are basically a big ball on what looks like a mouse, a kind of ball mouse turned upside down so you can move the ball with your finger. Some have big balls and some small. Personally I?ve never managed to get on with them, but I know other people who think they are wonderful. This one is a matter of taste really, I don?t think they look as nice. Most have the extra programmable buttons as standard so they have all the features. Also you won?t need a mouse mat. Acer plays the Ace card again!

Advantages: Small, lightweight, great performer. Can handle some 3D games.
Disadvantages: None for the Netbook, but Linux version is rubbish.

Advantages: Fast, great-looking and a gorgeous bright screen for viewing dvds
