Xbox 360 network Adapter

Advantages: Cute,Compact,Attachable
Disadvantages: Weak signal,Very expensive

...Microsoft and their proprietary products are poor performance,and too expensive.This adapter detects the same network my pc adapter detects but only 1 bar of signal.My pc adapter has 5 bars on the network.The xbox adapter must not have an omni antenna and the gain is probably 1dbi.I tried to opened this crap and put a higher gain antenna but the connector is a sub micro connector specially made for microsoft to screw us.I still could have rigged a better antenna,but i accidentally lost an ic chip trying to pry this thing apart,now there goes 70 bucks,never again. Fortunately i discovered linksys sells a universal game adapter (part number WGA54G),the adpater is also pc compatible,why isnt the xbox adapter pc compatible?Anyway,the linksys has an omni antenna and yes its removable to get a better omni.The signal is 5 to 15 times...

Xbox 360 network adapter, to buy or not?

Advantages: makes connecting to live wireless
Disadvantages: very high price

...i bought this for £50 second hand, and i found it very easy to use and it connected to my modem in minutes, but i know not everyone connects it as easy as i did, infact i couldnt connect it to my old router when i first got an xbox 360, so then i went for the ethernet cable method which is ideal if the router is in the same room as the xbox 360 because its much cheaper, gauranteed to work and normally makes connection better, but in my case i had a 30m ethernet cable running down my stairs which is not ideal! therefore when i bought my xbox 360 back i wanted to get it sorted with the network adapter. I've been in the shop a couple of times now to buy hair accessories and nail varnish. There is a wide range of items to choose from in different colours. As soon as you go through the door though, they are lunging a hand basket at you. If you do not take one they do not seem too pleased about it either. When you are paying for your goods, they always ask if you want to buy the bargain of the day like a nail file. They do not seem to be satisfied with what you take to the counter at all. ...I know a lot of people that when you say Claire's Accessories they would say oh that shop for teenagers but it isn't for them only, it's for girls in general. Females I should maybe say it sells a lot of things that are not too expensive but very nice still. From the branches I have been in I have seen them sell make-up, nail accessories, bags, books and so many things. This shop is not only in the UK because I saw t in America so I don't actually know where it started. One main thing I know this shop for is piercing ears they are trained I'm sure but I don't think I could trust anyone. They pierce ears usually right at the front of the shop and everyone can watch, they will probably be fine but they could do it away from the customers buying and I have heard that not all of the staff here actually know how to pierce. ...Hardly exciting is it network cable. The only thing that really intersts me about network cable is the things that come along it at high speed to my computer. Considering that the function of the network cable is to get porno, arriving from the internet via my boradband router, to my computer screen as fast as possible, it is quite an important item. Most people just go for the cheapest, which is a shame considering how much is spent on an broadband connection over a year. According to the BT engineer that came to fix my broadband 90% of the total signal loss goes in the last 100 meters. If you loose too much of your signal then this has a massive effect on the speed of your connection. What I am saying here is that skimping on cables is really a false economy if you are paying over £200 a year for a broadband connection then...

...Claires Accessories is a shop MORE for teenagers but adults and younger children do tend to find something in there to their liking. I'm not a regular shopper at Claires and when I go shopping I normall y just have a quick browse and leave or buy something. Layout and Presentation Claires Accessories is a very small shop and it is filled to the brim with accessories. Every single wall is covered with shelfs or hooks with bags and other things hung on them. Theres also rotating display racks with loads of earings. The lighiting is okay, it's not too bright nor is it dim. It's a bit claustrophobic exspecially when it's crowded. Presentation wise, it's a bit messy and staff could put a bit more effort into keeping the shop tidy. Accessories for the young at heart

I shop in here mainly over Christmas time for the kids in my family, but have been known to do the odd bit of shopping in there for myself! They are not really all that cheap. I have bought 3 hairbands in there, 2 of which have subsequently broken, 1 is still in good working order! The last one I bought cost £2.50. They also do ear-piercing. The sign outside said from £6.99. Not as cheap as some places, but this store is a national chain store, and would cost more.
