How do you decide which one is better than the other. First look at your budget. I had up to £400 to play with. You can get a good Laptop for this price nowadays. Whats a good laptop? I wanted something fast. Tired of wating yonks for web pages to load. Tired of crashing programs. So good RAM too. For speed you need a good processor and RAM. With this computer I got both at a good price. 4 gb of RAM and a intel core duo 2 processor wont leave you stuck in mud. I wanted a good quality screen too. It has a nice and bright 14.5 inch screen, It is glossy and slick. Very nice. You can watch movies on it no problem and video games too. Mine came with 150gb of hard drive. Enough...

In the car on the plane on a bus its there

Advantages: Portable and easy to understand
Disadvantages: The stick can be easily lost

...for the touch sreen, it is not that sharp but it must be kept away from childrens eyes and if the end is chewn then it will not stay in its slot and will probably get lost so be aware of that. But in my view it is very entertaining and can be brought on holiday for the plane or a car journey perhaps? But what ever it needs to be used for it is there and if it has low battery power you can buy a car charger that slots in to cigarrette lighters in cars. Games Console and Home Entertainment in one.

Advantages: Excellent Graphics, Ample Memory, Free online gaming, Blue - Ray excellent!!!

In the name of entertainment watch this

Advantages: A great feel good fantasy movie
Disadvantages: Burt Reynolds

It is a shame about the Lord of the Rings films because I feel many viewers will try to make this film fit with those and in doing so then look to draw comparisons, just to criticise In the Name of the King for falling short of being a LOTR film. Acting It can be argued that this film has a strong cast and as such it adds heaps of strength to the film. Jason Statham dominates and owns the hero role and simply does not err in this film in this role. He has a very strong on screen presence and his martial arts skill in this film make for some highly entertaining combat scenes as he cuts a swathe through the Krug with his sword and boomerang. My Acer 2920, super satisfied

Advantages: Light, Powerful, very good screen for the size, Stylish look, keys feel good
Disadvantages: No built in Bluetooth, Cant find a case to fit it properly, Needs a cigarette lighter charger

...into properly, there are lots of 15" cases but no 12" cases in our local pc shops. I now see 10" cases for the Acer 'one' and such, but no 12". It has a Bluetooth button, but no bluetooth. While it isn't exactly the end of the world, I would have liked the facility. Its wireless is fantastic and i connect anywhere without any issues... Although i have mobile 3g dongles for various countries, i also use the free hot spots all over europe when i can.... Connection with this pc is a doddle.....open it up, it discovers the wireless router and it connects.....have been well impressed.. My pet hate is that, it should be (and all laptops) supplied with a cigarette lighter socket charger as standard, it is portable after all and lots of people carry laptops in cars....! Acer plays the Ace card again!

Advantages: Small, lightweight, great performer. Can handle some 3D games.
Disadvantages: None for the Netbook, but Linux version is rubbish.

I decided on the Linux version of this netbook for £235, the Windows XP version is around £269. The Operating System First thing I need to say about it is Linux, what a joke with its limited functions and the hassle you need to go through to add new features. I wanted DivX support so I could watch movies at night but after a few hours looking for a suitable program and drivers I gave up. Linux isn't as straightforward as Windows and in many cases you have to open up a console and type commands when you want to install or make changes to an installation.
