...I have tried pretty much every single acne treatment out there without success. When I came across the Murad Clear Skin starter box in Boots, I at first thought it was too expensive. But with the money back guarantee they were offering I thought I might as well give it a ago. The exfoliating treatment should really be used as part of a three step treatement for best results, but boy does it give results! I was a bit weary at first as it says you may go through a purging process, however that did not happen to me. I have been using this system for only two weeks now and my skin have not looked this good, nor felt this good for about 10 years! I do still get the occasional spots and they have not cleared up completly - yet! But for the first time I am actually completly convinced that they will. It only keeps getting better and better... ...Having suffered from acne since I was a young teenager, I am now 27 and am still getting it. I was having a bad breakout so thought that I'd try this Freederm after seeing it on the TV. I have been treated with benzoyl peroxide and although I found this helped my spots, it dried my skin out so badly and bleached my bed clothes so I stopped using it. I have tried almost everything else as well I was expecting this new product to be different and effective like the advertising says, however, not only has my acne not improved, but is now one of the worst I have ever experienced. I am not allergic to any of the ingredients in this product before someone suggests that I might be! ...At 32 I am still finding that I am getting some spots and was determined to find a good treatment that will help clear them up. Having tried lots of over the counter creams which have only made my skin very dry, red and sore I had almost given up hope of finding anything that I could use without my skin ending up more sore and irritated than before. I then saw a TV advert for Freederm and thought "it's worth a try I've tried everything else available" so off I went to my local Boots and bought some. ...I started using Freederm gel about 2 months ago, I basically figured, give it a go, after all, I'm 23 and still getting quite a lot of spots! It cost £8.75, which is a lot of money, but you do get a lot for your money. Only a thin layer is needed over the affected areas, so the tube of 25g really does last for a long time. I noticed an improvement straight away, the red spots looked smaller and less sore. The product claims to be "a treatment for mild to moderate acne" with "an anti-inflammatory", this I think is where they stick to their promises because it does seem to have an anti-inflammatory effect on the sore, red spots very quickly.
