Acoustic Solutions 22" HDTV

...Acoustic Solutions LCDW22DVD95F (Acoustic Solutions) I got my Acoustic Solutions TV around a week ago, and ever since it is the best small sized television I have ever bought. It is an HD ready 720p TV, which is good for £150. The only bad thing about it is that there is no PC input. But you can buy special connectors for HDMI to DVI, so you can hook them up. I like the most about the TV is that there is a DVD player in it, The DVD player is good quality. Whats in The Acoustic Solutions LCDW22DVD95F box... The unboxing of the Acoustic Solutions TV is very simple there is, Acoustic Solutions LCDW22DVD95F TV and a Remote. I was very annoyed about this unboxing as my other Dell 17" TV came with all the cables e.g. DVI cable, VGA cable, S-Video cable etc. There is also manuals in the box and there is two batteries in the remote...

22" LCD TV - Acoustic Solutions

Advantages: Picture&sound quality, remote, controls, price
Disadvantages: other models include also DVD player, EPG is not always updated

...sharp, the colour is matte black and never looks "dirty" even when perhaps it is. This tv has several inputs, I can't remember them all but at the moment I have a dvd player, a playstation and multimedia hard disk, all of them plugged in separately. And still there are few more available (including HDMI). Freeview TV is enbedded in the tv and it's really user-friendly, far better than many digibox I've tried in the years. The remote control lacks of clear indication but it's excellent once you have learnt what you need to press. Screen and sound settings can be changed both from the remote and from buttons on the side of the tv, the on-screen menues are easy to navigate. The electronic programme guide (EPG) is automatically updated and the only annoyance that I can report is that sometimes the update doesn't happen and you don't have...

...I was looking for a surround sound system for under ?200, and with prices in Ireland that is no easy feat. After shopping around and finding plenty of Home cinema systems with no Optical in and maybe one anaolgue in I was giving up and was gonna start saving the ?380 (approx $550) on the Sony equivelent when I saw this for sale in Argos for ?150. It has one optical input which is perfect for the XBox 360 and 2 x Analogue which was perfect for Sky box & DVD player. There was also a COAX digital input which I did not use. Setup: Any system where you're wiring in 5 speakers will be fiddly work but with all the speakers clearly labeled with their positions it wasn't too bad. I had all the speakers wired and positioned in about 15 mins. I was quite lucky as I have a small room and the rear speakers had the perfect length cable...

Not too much of a bad solution

Advantages: Not bad if you sit at the right angle and don't want to watch a DVD

Value for money HD Ready TV with built in DVD

Wanted to buy a portable DVD Player but changed my mind and decided to buy Accoustic solution 22” TV with built in DVD and digital receiver. For this price range this telly is definitely better buy. If you consider buying a portable device for in room use it is not really a good idea. The biggest I found was just 10”. For the same price you can buy much bigger and with much better parameters TV (like this). Portable devices are good but only when travelling. I got it from Argos for less then £200. I had no problems in store except of fact that they had no big bags. Box was without handles or anything to catch. Disadvantages: Poor Remote Control / Extended Guarantee Coverage

...for my 2nd TV. 2 Scarts, 1 HDMI, etc.. Very slow at going through the differenct AV's using the remote. You have to wait for the AV to connect and show the screen before you can move on to the next one. Again, for the price you will get used to it. One thing I do need to point out about this TV is the extended warranty. You can only get the extended warranty from Argos. No other insurance provider that I can find so far provides extended warranties for this brand. I have been in touch with Acoustic Solutions and they have told me this is an exclusive line to Argos and they have nothing to do with this. A bit disappointing that I could not use Domestic and General as they were cheaper. Have had to take it out with Argos now just in case anything does happen after the 12 months inclusive warranty. Advantages: Value for Money, Good Picture quality, easy installation
Disadvantages: range of features not as good as some of the others

...anyway. This take two triple A batteries. I have found the instruction manual to be excellent, it is laid out very simple in a large font text. All the instructions are easy to follow and are written in a step by step format. The contents af the front is broken down for each area you may need to use. At the back is a few trouble shooting exercises in case of any problems. This product comes with a 1 year manufactors guarantee. The only disadvantage I have found with this product is that when conected to our DVD player the picture quality of the film is not as good as the normal picture quality. Although this may not have all the features of branded model it would suit anyone who needs to get a fairly cheap TV with built in freeview and is HD ready.
