...the twelve months of my guarantee. ~~ Conclusion ~~ I had originally recommended this unit, but I would now discourage people from buying it on account of the incessant obnoxious smell that it gives off. It is no doubt a shoddy piece of electronic equipment. My experience with this unit and the mediocrity of the other Accoustic Solutions hi-fi items that I purchased at the same time has considerably reduced my estimation of this company. Along with Philips, Accoustic Solutions are now equal bottom of my personal league table of electronic equipment manufacturers. I will not be making any further purchases from this brand. Hi-Five for the Hi-Fi

Advantages: Sound Quality, Simplicity, Remote Control, Portable
Disadvantages: Weight, Flimsy Dock Connector

...classical pieces to pounding dance tracks and everything in between, the iPod HiFi does a remarkable job of filling the room with a compelling, rich and detailed sound. It can also go surprisingly loud, and without distortion. Maybe because the internal amplification is matched to the speakers, I've never yet heard the speakers start to buzz or flutter because I've been playing it too loud. That said, I've never had it up to maximum because maximum is actually very loud - a claimed 108 decibels. Overall, I'm very happy with my iPod HiFi. I can now listen to my entire music library without the fuss of turning on my PC or wiring my iPod into my stereo. Better still, it's a portable solution so I can move it around the house or take it with me on trips. It's simple to use and the contemporary styling is unobtrusive. The sound is easily good...

...Acoustic Solutions LCDW22DVD95F (Acoustic Solutions) I got my Acoustic Solutions TV around a week ago, and ever since it is the best small sized television I have ever bought. It is an HD ready 720p TV, which is good for £150. The only bad thing about it is that there is no PC input. But you can buy special connectors for HDMI to DVI, so you can hook them up. I like the most about the TV is that there is a DVD player in it, The DVD player is good quality. Whats in The Acoustic Solutions LCDW22DVD95F box... The unboxing of the Acoustic Solutions TV is very simple there is, Acoustic Solutions LCDW22DVD95F TV and a Remote. I was very annoyed about this unboxing as my other Dell 17" TV came with all the cables e.g. DVI cable, VGA cable, S-Video cable etc. There is also manuals in the box and there is two batteries in the remote...

...I needed to get a new LCD TV and Home Cinema System. With no knowledge, I bought an issue of What Hi-Fi Sound and Vision. This magazine contains articles and mini tests on everything, you guessed it "sound and vision". All the information and technical advice required to make my decisions easier was in the magazine. They review equipment for the average person right through to the "money no object" type (i'm the afore mentioned I hasten to add!). After 2 hours of reading (easy to understand) I was able to make a short list and road test at the local electrical stores my choices. The magazine suggested that you shop around (how many people dont) for deals.....I did and thanks to the magazine, I saved £250 on my 2 purchases. It is fair to say that a vast part of the magazine is a listing of "previous tests and review scores...

Oak Look Hi Fi

...I have just been out and purchased a small hi fi for my lounge. In days gone by, we had monsterous stacking hi fi systems but, as with all technology, things have shrunk and vastly improved in quality. The same goes for Aiwa Hi Fi equipment. Once upon a time, Aiwa was frowned on in the High Street. Known for its cheaper styles and even cheaper sound, it was one to steer clear of. However, this little beauty does a great job at a great price and looks out of this world. If you pop along to Ikea and look at most of the furniture, light wood is definitely in at the moment. Wheather it be light oaks or maples, it the surface that most cabinets come in. In fact, most of the little stereo systems in their demo rooms look very similar to the Aiwa XR-EM200 micro hi fi. ...What Hi Fi, now what does this title suggest. Does it mean, What Hi Fi?, hmm which stuff shall I choose, or is it What, Hi Fi? Do not be a silly chap this stuff is all too expensive do not bother with it? Or could the title be a strange greeting to a person called Fi! Well, it is as you will have all guessed a magazine to help you the consumer choose the right Hi Fi, equipment, to make your lounge sound like heaven when you play your music; unless of course you play Steps or S Club 7, when all decent music playing equipment throws a tantrum and jumps out of the window to stop it being subjected to such rubbish!
