Advantages: Good Price
Disadvantages: Poor Remote Control / Extended Guarantee Coverage

...for my 2nd TV. 2 Scarts, 1 HDMI, etc.. Very slow at going through the differenct AV's using the remote. You have to wait for the AV to connect and show the screen before you can move on to the next one. Again, for the price you will get used to it. One thing I do need to point out about this TV is the extended warranty. You can only get the extended warranty from Argos. No other insurance provider that I can find so far provides extended warranties for this brand. I have been in touch with Acoustic Solutions and they have told me this is an exclusive line to Argos and they have nothing to do with this. A bit disappointing that I could not use Domestic and General as they were cheaper. Have had to take it out with Argos now just in case anything does happen after the 12 months inclusive warranty. ...~~ Purchase ~~ I bought my SP122 at Argos over two years ago along with a compatible and matching Acoustic Solutions SP101 Amplifier, Acoustic Solution SP111 DAB/FM Tuner and a pair of Acoustic Solution AVCS Column Stereo Speakers. I took advantage of a deal that was on offer at the time whereby if you bought the amp, tuner and CD player you would receive the speakers for free. ~~ Set up and Appearance ~~ This is an easy to use and uncomplicated CD unit. It's easy and straight forward to set up and attach to other units. I must admit though, it looked much better in the Argos catalogue than it does now that I have it set up in the living room. Advantages: Price, 22" LCD screen, HD ready, built-in digital tuner, pretty good picture quality.
Disadvantages: Poor sound quality and too-low volume range

...I bought one from Argos a week ago (late March 2009) and have now had time to assess the model. Overall its a good deal at £179.99. You get a neat 22" HD-ready LCD TV, with built-in digital freeview for the price of a much smaller and more basic TV. Because my loft aerial is rubbish, I use free-to-air satellite, so I haven't used the inbuilt freeview tuner, and cannot review that aspect. I also don't have any HD media yet, so can't comment on the HD-ready aspect. I found this TV pretty easy to get up and running. As soon as you turn it on, there's a welcome screen and step-by-step setup. Adjusting things to your own preferences takes a bit longer, as does working out the remote button functions, but that's the case with most modern TVs. Not too much of a bad solution
