...Hi. I'm going to share with you my experiences with Armani's ACQUA DI GIO today. This fragrance came out way back in 1996 following the successes of Armani Mania (1981) and Armani Eau Pour Homme (1984). I have no hesitation in saying that Acqua Di Gio too is a success. Armani's Acqua Di Gio for Men is constantly being advertised everywhere, particularly in Debenhams and Men's magazines such as Men's Fitness and Men's Health. This was a big factor behind me buying this because Armani weren't going to spend millions advertising this fragrance if it was not good. Neither would Debenhams display posters of it everywhere either. I also bought my 50ml of Acqua Di Gio because of the positive reviews from word of mouth and from the Internet. Acqua Di Gorgeous!

Advantages: An all day fragrance
Disadvantages: None

...This is undoubtedly one of my favourite fragrances. Acqua Di Gio is the older brother of Armani's new daytime fragrance Mania, and as such is a much more responsible mature fragrance, but no less fun! It is light, fresh and very different from the usual musky aftershaves for men. Plus it smells expensive! It is a light citrussy fragrance with rounded musky/woody undertones which make it good for nights out, but essentially this is a day time fragrance. This is for the young (and young at heart) professional - suitable for business meetings, as well as a night out on the town. It's a fun but formal fragrance and is slightly flamboyant compared to other mens aftershaves, but no less masculine - it's an alternative to the norm - which is always welcome! ...Right so here I am again, letting you know what I think of Acqua Di Gio Eau De Toilette this time. Any of you who have read my profile will know that I do adore my beauty/hair products and perfume! ...!* ~The packaging~ Acqua die Giò is available as an Eau de Toilette, and comes in a minty-green cardboard box. On the front of the box is written in dark green 'Acqua di Giò, Giorgio Armani, Eau De Toilette Vaporisateur natural spray. The bottle design is quite simple, made of frosted glass, with the name of the fragrance once again written on the front in dark green lettering. The cap is a platic golden affair, so the overall look is simple chic. The sprayer is of gold coloured metal and delivers short bursts of fragrance. ...a heavily cluttered shelf creaking and groaning under the combined weight of past Christmas presents. One of the offenders is a small bottle of ACQUA DI GIO by ARMANI, nothing if not pretentious. The bottle is pretty ordinary and basic, with rounded edges and frosted glass and ACQUA DE GIO and GIORGIO ARMANI flashed across front and back. The Nursey in Armani shocker!!!

Advantages: Wonderful smell
Disadvantages: you'll be fighting the woman off!

...Ok boy's want to pull tonight? Well let me give you a dead cert that will get women giving you a second glance! Noooooooooo! Do not go out without any clothes on -have you seen how cold it is? The second glances will only be women pointing and sniggering! Nope if you want to get a second glance I really do suggest you go and invest in a bottle of Acqua Di Gio pour homme. This is basically a female magnet or as I might have drunkenly described it "a most shaggable aftershave". Ok so don't take my word for it take yourself down to Boot's and give it a quick sniff....... So you need a bit more convincing that this aftershave is going to make you a babe magnet then? BADGER MEETS MR ARMANI

Advantages: Smells gorgeous, will get you noticed (for good reasons), long lasting

...Yes that's right, the Badger is going to give his opinion on another aftershave and today it's going to be one of my all time favourites, Acqua De Gio by Giorgio Armani. Up until last year I had never smelt or seen this in the shops. That was the case until one night I agreed to look after my sister. My dad wandered into the room and the beautiful fragrance that is Acqua De Gio followed him. I was instantly hooked. Acqua de Gio is a fairly new fragrance for men. I bought my bottle from the Armani shop in Manchester for £32.00 for a 50ml bottle. The actual bottle is very basic, with a rounded feel and frosted glass. The actual colour of the aftershave is a very pale green making it look extremely refreshing and modern. An Italian Stallion

Advantages: beautiful fresh aroma that lasts for hours

...Italian style is second to none and nothing says style and sophistication like a man who takes good care of himself when grooming. This is why I always turn to my favourite aftershave, Acqua di Gio by Giorgio Armani to give me that extra edge and self-confidence when I venture out into the big wide world.
