...Whenever "Sister Act" gets played on TV, I would try to watch it or tape it. I simply enjoyed the performance of Whoopi Goldberg and other supporting actresses who acted as nuns in this humourous and light movie. It portrays a singer, played by Whoopi, who having witnessed a murder, becomes a police prosecution witness and get police protection in a nunnery. The dialogues between Whoopi and the nuns are very funny. The church songs, esp. "I will follow Him" are sung in a very catching tune. The story is well acted and received indeed.... Read review

...Sister Act 2 is a great sequel to the brilliant first film Sister Act. Not often does a sequel match the first film for brilliance but this film certainly passes the grade. Starring Whoopie Goldberg as a nun is enough to make you laugh in the first place. This excellent movie guarantees laughter throughout and is highly recommended by me. It is one of many films on my video shelf. The story line is easy to follow and the acting is great. A memorable soundtrack with some excellent songs. All in all it is a memorable film which comes highly recommended.... Read review

...This movie is a masterpiece. The cinematography is excellent, dark, And Depressing. Tim Burton did an excellent job directing this movie. This is one of his best movies. The acting by Johnny Depp was great. Actually almost everything in the movie is excellent. The music is great too. Now the bad things about this movie. The lack of acting by Christina Ricci. The did a poor job acting in this movie. That is all the bad things I can think in this movie. They also didn't go by the novel by Washington Irving, but thats OK it was still a good movie. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes a good classic horror movie. This is a classic!... Read review

...Sister Act was a very good film, and like most sequils Sister Act II had it's work cut out. In mu opinion it did not quite make the grade. There is only so much you can write about a convent without it becoming a little too unrealistic. The nuns enlist Woopie to help them again which she does. There is some comedy in the film but mainly resting on Woopies shoulders. There seemed to be less opportunities for laughs which makes me think the writers tried too hard to make a better than the one before and destroyed it in the process.... Read review

...Bruce Willis makes two kinds of movies. One type has him as an action hero who can't act, and the other has him as a more educated, better acting character. 12 Monkeys has him as the second type. He is a convict from the future who is chosen to go back in time and change a huge tragedy. The film is an excellent study in free will versus predestination and has some very cool surprises. The tragedy is the introduction of a deadly virus, and although there is a lot of science fiction going on the virus itself and the way in which it is spread worldwide is actually possible now. ...Before watching Air Force 1 I was expecting a great deal considering the fact that Harrison Ford's action films have included Star Wars and Indiana JOnes, and i have to say that I was not dissapointing in the least. The plot was very original and the acting from Ford was exactly as expected - powerful and emotional. However the wonderful wildcard performance came from Gary Oldman as a Russian nationalist. I thought his accent was realistic and his acting top-notch. Overeall i would recommend this movie due to the acting of the leads and the action sequences, which were incredible to say the least.... Disadvantages: No freeze frame Video recorder!! Bad Acting, weak plot, cheesy catchphrase!

......However, It was a lovely intro scene with Pammy on that trapeze. I am not a sleaze, but that sequence certainly did something for me!! The plot was weak, the acting weaker, but there is no denying Pam Anderson is a Babe. Don't call me Babe! I think her acting ability has always been in question, but with a bod like that and looksto go with it, she needed to be shared with the world. I just can't understand why she ended up with Tommy Lee! Give Pam a break and take her for what she is, a beautiful, if the beautiful, icon of the nineties and into the twenty first century. ...The Chicago Rock Cafe in Wood Green provides a wide range of live entertainment from discos to karaokes and from live bands to tribute acts. On Wednesdays they provide tribute acts. Before the act they provide a disco which is mainly 50's-80's and is quiet entertaining. I love this kind of venue because it offers a variety. There is a restaurant there and if you go there during the week between 5-7pm you can buy a drink and get one free or even buy a meal and get one free! The tribute act was outstanding. The only recommendation I would make is for the tribute to come on earlier as they don't start until 10.30pm The Bar closes at 1am. The Bar is a target for those who enjoy the old American Style Bars and themes. I would personally recommend it!... Read review

...Wheres the acting or talent? I turned on the T.V. and decided to watch this programme, i had made a wrong decision. The acting in it was completely and utterly rubbish, basically they could not act! The episode was aboput two girls trying to find a prostitute, a man who was infertile and about three oter stories as well. I couldn't follow any story as they were all too short and mixed up with others, and the lack of acting made it even worse. I would of prefered to of sat there in a bath of baked beans, with a steering wheel on my head whil singing Baa Baa Black Sheep, that is how entertaining it was. I have never watched this programme again and would hope that you will never consider ever going near it, stay clear.... Read review

...This is a good film, with many people have watched it because Whoopie Goldberg is such a brilliant actress - she fits the part just great and the mux=sic in the film makes the film a real feel good kind of type of film. I think the sad part is that I was not in the film, because I would make a great nun. I also think everyone should see this film if they haven't already. Also, Whoopie aGoldberg was in Sister Act1 - this was released befor sister act 2 because Sister act 2 is the sequel to this film. Out of 10 I would give this film 8.9 because it captured my imagination. It's better than Spice world the Movie which is a bad bad film.... Read review
