We were a multi-user environment, and I looked after 'Max' I've long since left THAT job (thankfully - but that's a long story), and now work 'here'. Here, I use Symantec ACT! 2000. All by myself (we're a small company). Like Maximizer, ACT is a contact management system. It is a database designed (primarily, but not exclusively) for sales people and account handlers. ...Being a teacher at Edinburgh Acting School (EAS), this opinion will hopefully give you a honest view on it. There are various classes all for a 10 week period: Basic Acting Class: All ages. This class teaches the student the very basics of acting for stage. In this class you may get a lot of people who don't want to do acting but want to increase their confidence. Performance Class: Adults and Teenagers. In this class the leader and students work for nine weeks on a show to be performed on the tenth week. I've heard a lot about Jodi Picoult lately and have read some reviews, so I thought it was high time I experienced her writing for myself - especially when the paperback edition of Vanishing Acts was staring at me one the supermarket shelf for only £3.74! I was apprehensive at first: would this be another author from the 'chick lit' camp who writes solely about the romantic escapades of women leading superficial lives or would Picoult prove to be one of the best contemporary authors I've come across? ...Ok. So it stars Whoopi Goldberg , need I say anymore? this film is about a casino singer (Whoopi Goldberg) who is on the run from her ex-boyfriend who wants her dead. He was married, so he was having an affiar. And when they have a fight she goes upto his office, where she witnesses him shooting someone - so because he knows that she will go to the police, which she does. He gets his "right hand men" to go after her. When she manges to loose them in the crowds, she gets a taxi striaght to the police, where she tells them everything, about the shooting. Its there she finds out that the police have been after her boyfriend for nearly a year. The police want to put her somewhere where her boyfriend wont find her, while they track him down, so they decide to put her in a nuns convent. Where she wil act as a nun day in, day out... ...As a person that suffers from very sensitive skin I am often reluctant to try new face products in fear of: a) My skin might burn off b) I have some MEGA reaction But recent situations have left me a bit cash poor and so I am using up my "emergency" supplies which include these wipes. I remember buying some foundation during a promotion on their 17 range which meant that I got the "Clean Up Your Act - Make Up Removing Wipes" free. So where to start..... No17 and No7 are Boots own brands of make up and more recently face and body care. No 17 is marketing towards the younger end of the market with it being cheaper, the products changing more frequently and the colour ranges being more bright/outrageous/varied. These face wipes are the start of the additional facial products that Boots is going to expand for the No17 range... Read review

...of the Reverend Mother as the choir take on a whole new look. The newly talented choir attracts great attention for the church, which is slightly concerning for the Reverend Mother as sister Mary Clarence is supposed to be in witness protection. This film had me laughing from start to finish. Whoopi Goldberg is fantastic in this part. It's well worth watching and the second sister act is just as good.... Read review

...It has become common practice these days for pop divas/singers to move out of their specified forte and venture into the world of acting. These pop stars (usually female I might add) attach themselves to light hearted film projects so that their children orientated fan base can watch them do their stuff on the big screen. Not many singers-cum-actors make it as credible actors/actresses and rely on their good looks to carry the story into something worthwhile and entertaining. Most recently this has occurred to the following, with a few who shine and the rest er… don’t. Here we go… Eminem Marshall can actually act, shock, horror and all the rest of it in critically acclaimed “8 Mile”, which won him an Academy Award for his “Lose Yourself” song.
