...The ps2 is a great console although it is almost10 years old. It has alot of features that anyone can use with ease. On it you can watch Movies, Play games and also play online with people around the world providing that you can internet access on it. there are a wide variety of games available for it and they are also quite cheap. The playstation itself can come quite cheap with prices starting at £40 in some shops. You might also want to get some accessories for it such as the vertical stand, the eyetoy camera and the DVD remote if you want one. The only bad points about the playstation i would say are the fact that it is quite fragile and would break easily....

...The Playstation 2 has sold in excess of over 100 million consoles since it was released back in 2000. When orginally released the Playstation 2 was much larger in size than the slimline version which Sony released in 2004. I am going to look into what are the benefits of the new system and look at the good and bad features. Good Features The Slimline Playstation 2 is much quieter than the original console because it simply looks much better, the slim design is better on the eye and also it is less noisy as the console does not have a fan. Instead it uses air vents to keep the console cool. It does the job to be honest because I owned the console for over 2 years and it has never crashed or overheated. ...I should start by saying that I am not part of the PlayStation generation, I'm 44 and my first introduction to gaming outside of arcades was awarded to me as the result of an on line competition when I won a good old PSOne (yes, people do win those draws), that was about 7 or 8 years ago I guess. About 5 years ago I upgraded to the original PS/2 and have enjoyed many late nights / early mornings gaming on that till about 8 months ago when it gave up the ghost. Rugger action hits PS2

Advantages: Well its rugby, it the only rugby game for any next gen cosole (so far) and its good

Slim Shady Playstation 2

...After having purchased a standard sized playstation 2 console in 2001, I decided to sell my console on ebay towards the end of 2005 when the slimline playstation 2 console was unveilled to the world. Why did I chose to sell the console that had worked for the last 4 years, for a siver slimline playstation 2? The new slimline playstation two has been reduced in size from the previous version by 75%., the weight has been halved and the and thickness trimmed down to 2.8 cm, from 7.8 cm. Equipped with an integrated Ethernet port for network gaming, the new PlayStation 2 sets new standards in the fusion of design and functionality. The slimline playstation 2 has a new flip lid instead of the motorised draw. The flid lid is a little flimsy but I suppose there was no room for a motorised draw on the slimline version. Advantages: Good combat system, good gameplay, good graphics
Disadvantages: Linear storyline, too easy, too quick to complete.

The enemies from the film have been well replicated. 5/5 SOUND The sound effects to this game were very realistic and each action had it's own unique sound effect. Just because the newer PlayStation 3 is out, doesn't mean that you shouldn't buy a PS2, Its at a cheap price and would cost you 150 pounds to buy the console, some games and get it hooked up online, whereas next gen consoles could cost up to 500 pounds (excluding the Wii, which would take about 250). Advantages: Very long game, quite realistic in the way of needs.
Disadvantages: No children, no aging.

...found some aspirations alot harder to play than others, but it is best to just give them all a go and see which ones you prefer. One of my favourite parts of the game was creating meals. You can choose different ingredients to put in a meal (such as meat, vegetables, fruit, fish, dairy and loads of other categories) and when you're done, your sim will eat it. I'd be careful while doing this, sims tend to get sick if you really mess up the ingredients. Controls in other Sims games are very different to the Sims 2 PS2. Instead of just clicking somewhere and then waiting for your sim to move, you control it's actions. You still have the option to go back to clicking if you want to though. I found this option really good, it gives the player alot more freedom and just improves the game in general. Once you have completed enough of your sim...
