...Mission Impossible 2 is a non stop action thriller... with Tom Cruise playing the role of the secret agent Ethan Hunt, in this Mission Impossible sequel. This has got to be one of the best films ever filmed... The special effects are magnificent and the sound and theme tune is perfect... with Limp Bizkit playing the theme tune this time... Some of the kicks Tom Cruise does is amazing... how does he do it... The car chase scene was breath taking... MI2 has a very good story line and not once did you lose the plot. This film is just action, action and action... But The Matrix is still my favorite film.... Read review

...This is a vastly under rated action movie. Eddie Murphy is great as a hostage negotiator that gets dragged into finding a smart criminal that threatens to kill his girlfriend. The acting is great, the plot is great and the action is incredible. There is even comedy that gives the occasional laugh too. There are a lot of good things about this movie but the action is the best thing. At one point Eddie Murphy fights the bad guy on a San Francisco tram that is out of control. It slams into cars sending them literally flying everywhere. This is a really good film and has been under rated. Give it a shot and I bet you will love it.... Read review

...After the first film I was left a bit dismayed and didn't fancy an action replay, but being a major Tom Cruise fan I went along to have a look. I was shocked it was excellent, it kept you glued to your seat with non-stop action throughout. There were a few little twists thrown in and the stunts were amazing. The storyline had a basic plot, but was so action packed you weren't left looking at your watch waiting for the credits to roll A much recommend film. Well done Tom and co.... Read review

...Con Air is simply a great movie with oustanding action and acting. Nicolas Cage is in the centre of the action as an aircraft carrying the worlds worst convicts is taken over. Somehow he is in the centre of it all. Is he a convict I hear you cry...Yes but a good one. This is a slight downfall the plot is a bit strange but when it boils down to it you watch this film and just don't care. Once the movie hits about the halfway mark it is just about action all the way. The stunts are great. There is even some mild humour in the middle of it all and it all adds up to a great action romp that is well worth a look.... Read review

...Tom Cruise is back as Ethan Hunt, taking on another of those impossible missions. Hong Kong action supremo John Woo directs this second outing for the Mission Impossible team - although there's not so much team work involved. Mostly, the movie is an excuse for Tom Cruise to show off his amazing prowess as an action hero. Watch him do death defying aerobatical stunts, ride a motorcycle, save the girl (Thandie Newton) and beat the hell out of the baddie (played by Scots actor Dougray Scott). The plot's nothing special (nasty virus in the hands of an evil baddie) and it all gets a bit silly in places, but Woo handles the action well. There are plenty of stylised, visually exciting scenes (quite violent in places) and things are kept moving at a fairly rapid pace. Entertaining action larks.... Read review

...The plot, though not bad (all you need to know is vampires), takes second place in this madcap action film. The filming and direction is excellent. The special effects are excellent. The action is excellent. The explosions are excellent. The fighting is excellent. Overall, this is a wellmade film that guarantees 100% action and 0% boring emotional scenes, which is nice once in a while. Like I said, it's about a modern vampire cult in a major American city, and Wesley Snipes plays the Vampire Killer type guy, although with a physique slightly more appropriate for fighting evil than that Buffy chick, and it's a pretty good performance. The soundtrack, full of hard techno beats, isn't bad actually and at least you actually remember it rather than with most films these days. If you enjoy action films, then this films really a must. ...I bought this Action Replay card so that I could download saves from the internet and back up my own saves on my computer and share them online. When I purchased this action replay card it was priced at £18.99 at my local games store. Once I got the box home I opened it to find the following content Box Content: 1x Action Replay 8mb 1x USB cable connector Action Replay PC suite and instruction CD Instruction Manual All held in quite a nice metal tin Installing the software into my pc and getting the saves from online sources was easy, it took me less than 10 mins to connect the card to the computer, install the software and download saves to the 8mb memory on the card. This was all very easy and straight forward, after this I then connected the card to the Xbox to transfer the saves to the hard drive and this was easy just the same... Read review

...This is the first book that I have read by this author, Ben Elton, and I am positive it will not be the last, judging by this one. Characters CD - hapless character, in desperate need of relief...sexually. Rachel - love of CD's life, she "only wants to be friends". Intelligent and sexy. ...Mark Wahlberg shars in this modern action film as Bob Lee Swagger. An ex prolific sniper is called back to action under the pretense of spoiling a planned assassination attempt on the president. Little does he know he walks into a trap and is the scapegoat for the assassination attempt gone wrong. Swagger ends up on the run from the federal government he gets an unlikely ally as he goes uncovering the plot and is determined to expose the administration for what they are. The story develops into a decent action film full of action and adventure. Mark Wahlberg's acting was impressive while Michael Pena didn't live up to what he did in "Crash." Danny Glover turns up and acts out his usual solid role, this time as Wahlberg's sadistic arch nemesis. All in all and enjoyable action-thriller, rambo-esque at times but entertaining none... ...It's a great film full of action and an intriguing storyline although sometimes it is confusing switching between the two worlds. If you want a deeply involving story it is not that good but taken for what it is you will be amazed by the incredible special effects and action scenes including martial arts which the wachowski brothers are masters of. The dvd includes a look into how the film was created which is very interesting. This is great if you are looking for something to watch with friends. But be warned it may leave you wondering if it could really happen.... Read review
