...I work in a school with a child with learning and physical disabilities. I did not hesitate to order this product from the ELC catalogue (out of the schools special educational needs budget). The activity cube keeps the child busy for a long time, and I have to prise it out of the child's hands at the end of a free session. The lights and sound makes learning great fun and very motivating. The educational side of it is that with four shapes and four numbers the child can learn through play and at the child's own pace. The child has a physical disability but with the chunky pieces the child can place the pieces with little or no help. The activity cube has easy grip handles and is a light weight product overall. We bought a VTech AC adaptor from EBay and it only cost us £5, the reason we decided to buy the adaptor for the laptop was because it states in the VTech instruction manual that you shouldn't use rechargeable batteries for the laptop as this could damage it. Supplied with the laptop is a mouse mat and a mouse, which plugs into the mouse jack on the back of the laptop. This makes the laptop more appealing for my son as he loves going on my laptop so as he can play the games on the CBeebies website. Now he has his own laptop which is fun for him to play with and also learns educational skills at an easy pace. ...I found Active Mobility via Google. I was after a replacement for my Quickie GPV. I contacted AM and other Sunrise Medical dealers for a quote. As AM came backl with the best price, I chose to use them. In the early days up to ordering the chair, the help I received was second to none. Unfortuneately, when the chair arrived it was completely the wrong specification. Incidentally, the chair was received by myself in August 03. After consultation with AM, a second chair was ordered, when it arrived in October 03, it too was incorrect. It is fair to say that Active Mobility were at this stage going on the specification that was held by the manufacturer Sunrise Medical. After receiving an incorrect chair for the second time, I contacted the manufacturer directly. No disrespect to Active Mobility, but the issue was in the build... Read review

...This book is really good for teachers (and trainees like me). It is full of activities and games based o n Mathematical skills and knowledge. It is split into sections of Number, Calculations, Measurement, Shape and Space and Data Handling. There are a variety of games and activities in each section, which will all help to meet the new numeracy framework objectives. They range from tasks that can be done individually to games that can be organised with teams and groups. The activities are varied and easily manageable for the class teacher, and can be altered and differentiated as needed. The book suggests age ranges to use each activity with but this is flexible and activities can be made to suit the level of pupils. ...For a birthday present we decided to buy my cousin a Fisher Price Activity Centre: Discovery Farm with the Play Family. First of all Fisher Price toys, computer software etc for children are very good and good quality. So, we had no qualms paying a touch over £45 for it and that was at discount price. But, I do think you may be able to get it a touch cheaper now. This is recommended for children between 1 ½ and 3 but I would say that children slightly older can play with it and 1 ½ is a bit too young. It’s very well designed and very easy to follow. Basically, what the programme entails is that children click using the mouse to things on the monitor. ...The title of this album does not refer to "radioactivity" but "radio-activity". This is therefore a concept album exploring the cocepts of broadcast communication, or "radio-activity", getting it? This is their first truely "techno-pop" record. The title track is their first recorded in English, and what can i say? It's great, clipped pianos, eerie vocals, and fantastic synths. This record uses many of the classic kraftwerk instruments - the big moog synthesisor, vocoded vocals, rhythmic drumming, and great melodies. My only complaint about this album has to be its length - just over 35 minutes, and much of that time is spent in eerie, atmospheric silence, or the blips of "geiger counter". ...i found this to be very good deodorant...i have tried many others and found them not to be very good. most deodorants i have used give me an itch but imperial leather active deodorant does not...i have recommended it to other members of my family and they really like it as well. this deodorant is just wonderful, i doubt if i will ever change to anything else now that i have used imperial leather active deodorant. my husband uses it as well and he likes the way that it last a lot longer than the other deodorant that he used to use. the lovely smell of the deodorant does not take over the smell of perfumes that you wear. it does not leave stains on your clothing especially black dresses and tops, imperial leather active deodorant is great. my husband and i play a lot of sports and imperial leather active deodorant lasts and lasts... ...Pampers are the leading brand i think when it comes to nappies and the active fit range are a definite credit to them...true they are slightly pricier than other nappy brands but they are definitely worth it in my opinion.My son is a very active little boy and wriggles pretty much morning til night and certain other brands hadnt been able to contain the leaks (through the leg,waistband etc ) These do the job with ease !! Never have i had to put a new change of clothes on due to leakage !! He is comfy in them from what i can see as there are never any red marks on his legs or waist which to me are markers of an ill fitted nappy. The stretchy tabs on the nappies are fab they stretch for miles...Ok slight exageration but you get my drift.
