Sony Stereo - MEX-BT2600
Advantages: Stylish, Not Expensive
Disadvantages: Hard to use at first, Difficult to Set-Up
...Sony Stereo - MEX-BT2600
This is the upgrade to the MEX-BT2500 which was a very popular stereo and still is. This new model is a cool looking stereo from the quality and trusted brand Sony, it is stylish to look at both when turned off and on.
After always having Sony stereos when this new one came out we decided we'd get if for our Renault Laguna, the old one had worked with the steering wheel controls but unfortunately this one doesn't as you have to buy a separate cable to connect it up to your steering wheel controls.
Setting it up and Ease of Use
This is definitely not the easiest stereo to set up the first time we put it into our Laguna it went in fine and worked perfectly getting used to all the settings and functions does take a while though, but it isn't exactly a basic stereo so if you do not like taking...

The Classic Nokia 2600
Advantages: Slim, Cute and Cheap
Disadvantages: Battery backup unsatisfactory
...After Nokia released the models 2760 and 2630 is the Nokia 2600 classic. These models are an attempt to capture the market with features like blue tooth , video,GPRS and mp3 support and is also on the lower price range.
The 2600 classic is the newer and more modified version of the earlier 2600. This version has more facilities and functions and is much slimmer. It has got quite an attractive look with an extra panel that comes along with the pack, which I think is great. The LCD is bigger than the previous one and comes along with a headset that features an FM radio too. The battery is however unsatisfactory. You need to charge up to two times a day if you listen to music or play games. It doesn't have a music player but can play mp3 and amr formats. It has only 10 MB inbuilt memory and doesn't have expandable memory. You can...

Nokia 2600, a phone that is just a phone
Advantages: Price, Easy to Use, Looks Sophisticated
Disadvantages: None, considering the price
...Nokia 2600 - I am prone to dropping my mobile phone. I'm not usually that clumsy, I just can't seem to look after my phones. The one I had before this Nokia 2600 was also a nokia. My boyfriend had given me his old one as he is on a contract and got an upgrade. The old one had a camera, colour screen, radio etc etc. When I eventually broke that one too I asked myself what I actually needed in a phone, and was it worth spending a small fortune on a load of features I was never going to use.
The Nokia 2600 isn't a camera, a radio, an MP3 or video player, it is simply a phone, but what a great phone. It makes phone calls and allows you to text. What more could you want.
Nokia is a brand I know well and a company that I can trust. Their phones are durable (unless continually dropped) and reliable. I decided to stick with Nokia. I went...

I Wanna Portrait
Advantages: It is a cheap printer with good prints
Disadvantages: The price of cartridges and how the ink fails to dry quickly
...Canon Pixma ip2600 is a photo printer which is excellent value for money, but does have a small flaws.
Setup
Inside the box you get the printer and the power cable. You get also the inside the manual to how to use the printer and a disc which installs drivers onto the computer. Inside the printer already is the two cartridges you need, which just need the tape ripped off to make them work.
The cable is easy to put in and not that difficult to work out how it all works. The disc they provide loads up not only the drivers needed to print of documents but also adds their very own picture service which fixes red eye pictures, the brightness and contrast and more.
Extremely easy to load up and install and doesn't take up much memory.
You will need a cable to use to print items like a printer cable and they are usually £2 on play...

The AMD AthlonXP 2600+? 3200+ more like
Advantages: Fast, Excellent MHz/£ ratio, Highly Overclockable
Disadvantages: Hotter than Intel P4s, Die is more fragile.
...The AMD AthlonXP 2600+ is in my opinion the best choice for those of you thinking of upgrading, or even buying a new system. And of course I will now tell you why.
Speed
-----------
Running at an FSB of 166MHz, with the help of DDR we double that to 333MHz, the Athlon 2600+ has the equivalent speed of a Pentium 4 2.5GHz (in terms of general use) and because of its optimization with Windows XP boasts Windows processing performance better than Pentiums running faster than 2.7GHz.
In simpler terms it out-performs the Pentium equivalents in every day-to-day tasks.
For games the Athlon runs just as well if not better than the Pentium 4 2.6GHz. The only thing that AThlon XP processors seem to be slower at is hard-core video and music processing (in otherwords putting together a video clip and turning .WAV files into MP3s etc...

It does what it says on the tin, takes calls
Advantages: long battery life, easy to use Nokia features, compact, lightweight
Disadvantages: no built-in camera, poor range of colours, no real ringtones
...I have only ever ventured away from Nokia phones once in my relatively short experience of owning mobile phones. I started with the brick like 5110, moved onto the short and dinky 8310, then the flashy and stylish 3100 and at the end of 2004 I took delivery of Plain Jane Super brain, the 2600, which has recently been consigned to the kitchen draw following a further upgrade.
When I originally took delivery of the 2600 it had only just been released by Nokia and despite its short foray into the market it didn't cost me a penny to upgrade thanks to my contract with Vodafone. If you wanted to buy this phone now, it is still available second hand on various auction websites with prices ranging from £20-£80. Alternatively, Carphone Warehouse do stock these for the princely sum of £89.99 to buy outright. The actual price is significantly...

MY MOBILE IS JUST A PHONE
Advantages: Logical Nokia Menu System, It's a mobile phone - no more, no less!
Disadvantages: Very few in my opinion
...and that was the Nokia 2600, a basic phone with basic functions that I could have free as an upgrade providing I agreed to a further 18 month contract with them on the same tariff. Given that they had agreed to provide the handset for free and that I?ve been a customer for over six years I accepted the deal.
THE PHONE ITSELF
In keeping with all Nokia models, the 2600 uses the logical Nokia menu system that consists of a series of key headings, which are fairly self explanatory.
Messages
Contacts (Phone Book)
Call Register
Settings
Alarm Clock
Reminders
Games
Extras
Under each menu heading there is a series of sub headings which I won?t go into great detail about as these are pretty standard, e.g. add and searching for Contacts, setting ring tones and wallpapers, etc. Hopefully you can see that you are not going to get too...
