A A A ADAMS!!!
Advantages: good quality
Disadvantages: not find it yet
...Hi!
My experience with Adams started about 4 years ago, when my son has been born.
In that time, I was trying every kids shop to find the best one. After buying clothes from different shops, I got to conclusion that the Adams is the best and suits my need.
The cloths are very good quality- I never find it any little holes or marks on them.
***
My shop situated is in city centre and is very easy to get to it. When I walk in to the shop, I can feel very warm atmosphere there. The cloths been sorted in the age groups- baby, toddler boys 1-4 years, toddler girls 1-4 years, boys 4-10 and girls 4-10,-schoolwear and footwear...
They are presented nicely and sorted starting from the smallest size going up.
Every time I have been there I always, can find size what I am looking for?
***
This shop is brilliant for Scholl wear...

The Best of Bryan Adams
Advantages: Contains 15 great tracks
Disadvantages: None
...'The Best of Me' by Bryan Adams
I purchased my Bryan Adams The Best of Me album about 8 months ago. This album contains great songs.
The Tracks
1. The Best Of Me
'When you want it, when you need it, you'll always get the best of me.'
This opening track is nice with its great melody, good rendition of acoustic guitar and Bryan's husky voice.
2. Can't Stop This Thing We Started
'I aint superman and I can't fly, but if you wanna stop me baby , don't even try.'
This track comes in rock style and Adams delivers it with unique style as he goes speechy and sexy with this song.
3 . I'm Ready
'I'm ready to love you, I'm ready to hold you.'
This is a very romantic mellow song. Bryan goes in slow tempo with this track with brilliant lyrics.
4. Summer of '69
'And if I had the choice, yeah, I'd always...

Halls Soothers
Advantages: Taste nice, soothe a throat
Disadvantages: No medicine
...It's that time of year again, winter!! and to start it off I have a cold so this morning at the station I bought my favourite pack of cough sweet, Halls Soothers. Each packet was £0.65 but this was a station and I know you can get them cheaper in places like Boots etc.
Halls are quite an impressive company. According to their website they account for more than 50% of international cough drop sales and their Halls Soothers range is the UK's number 1 medicated confectionery product. Halls was actually started by two brothers, The Hall Brothers in 1893 and originally they produced soap and jams. They then moved into confectionery and in the 1930's invented the popular mentho-lyptus which is the basis of most of their cough drops now.
Halls Soothers are basically hard fruit sweets (boiled sweets) with a refreshing liquid centre. From...

Hardwick Old Hall
Advantages: Historical, interesting, great views
Disadvantages: Not a huge amount to see
...A couple of weeks ago Mr Tart and I headed for the Peak District to visit his family. As a big fan of all things old I wanted to visit some sort of historical site as my part of the weekend (don?t worry, her got a 7 mile walk out of me for his part!). I?d always wanted to visit Hardwick Hall, especially as the Tudors is one of my favourite historical periods and was very happy to hear it was so close to where we were staying.
SOME HISTORY:
I doubt if many people will have heard of Hardwick Old Hall. I certainly hadn?t and I like to think I?m quite a bore when it comes to these sorts of things! The Hall was built by Bess of Hardwick (Elizabeth, Countess Shrewsbury) between 1587 and 1596. Bess was one of the foremost women of the Elizabethan age and managed to get through four husbands on her way up the social ladder. Bess was...

Whirlowbrook Hall, Sheffield
Advantages: Lovely setting
Disadvantages: Cafe is expensive
...Whirlowbrook Hall is located about 5 miles to the west of Sheffield city centre, close to the county border of Derbyshire and on the edge of the Peak District National Park. It was built in 1906 as the family home of Sir Walter Benton-Jones, a leading industrialist in the city.
Today, Whirlowbrook Hall is one of the premier venues in the region for weddings, conferences, banquets and meetings. Within the building there are numerous different rooms that can be hired out for these private functions. The venue now also holds a civil marriage license so it is possible to get married here in addition to holding your function here afterwards.
The various rooms range dramatically in size. A few years ago I worked for a company that hired out the Music Room on several occasions for its senior staff meetings and this is when I first became...

The Piece Hall, Halifax
Advantages: Lots of history
Disadvantages: Only about 20 shops in total
...250 years ago the West Yorkshire town of Halifax was at the centre of the textile trade. A few decades later textile mills would spring up all along the valley in which Halifax sits but back in the 1770's most of the cloth was made in the local people's houses on handlooms. The Piece Hall opened in 1779 as a place where these traders could meet and trade their cloth. It was built to replace a smaller building called The Cloth Hall.
Today The Piece Hall is a Grade 1 listed building. It stands in the heart of town centre and is now used largely as a shopping complex.
I was in Halifax yesterday and The Piece Hall was one of the places that I wanted to see. I easily found the main entrance as it is clearly sign posted from everywhere within the town centre but upon arrival I was greeted by the not quite so quite imposing entrance to...

Hall Lot of Levens
Advantages: Easy to get to, wonderful gardens
Disadvantages: Bit dear
...On my ex wife's thirtieth birthday, I surprised her with a trip to this stately home. This visit was not the reason as to why she became the ex Mrs Borg (nor was it cited in the grounds for divorce), I must stress, as we both enjoyed our little excursion around the place. I am not much of a stately home fan. I can take them or leave them, and I wouldn't take a trip out especially to go to one these days, but when I have been I have quite enjoyed them. This certainly applies to Levens Hall.
I think that any trip to a hall or castle is about discovering information on history and because of this I will not mention much of these here. I will say that it has been around in the 1500s. The current owner is Hal Bagot, but it has been in the family for centuries.
The most memorable thing I remember of Levens Hall is the gardens. Dating...

The Merchant Adventurers' Hall, York
Advantages: Lots of history
Disadvantages: Admission charges
...I have been to York many times but prior to my most recent visit I had never been to The Merchant Adventurers Hall. I had seen the signs for it but I was never too sure what it was and since its tucked away out of sight from the main thoroughfares it's a place I always forget to check out. A friend recently told me that this is a 14th century timber framed building that is the largest building of its type and age in Britain so I figured that this time around I ought to check it out.
Built as a medieval guildhall in 1368 this is probably the oldest surviving building in York, although in an historical city like York there are several other places that also stake this claim. It is not to be confused with the nearby Merchant Taylor's Hall, which was a mistake that I initially made.
The Merchant Adventurers' Hall is tucked away down...

Wallington Hall
Advantages: Lovely grounds
Disadvantages: A bit hilly
...Wallington Hall
It being the summer holidays and extremely hot, we tend to try to get out and about to places less busy than the beach. Since I am a member of the National Trust, it's easy as we just consult the members' handbook, and off we go.
A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY?
Wallington Hall (as I found out) dates from 1688, although I assume the house which stands there now is not that old?the little bit I know about architecture tells me it mut be later. It belonged to generations of the Blackett and Trevelyan families; I am assuming these were influential families since we do now in Newcastle have a Blackett Street in the center of the city. The gardens heavily influenced by Capability Brown, who went to school in the village.
GETTING THERE.
Wallington Hall is in Northumberland, about 12 miles from Morpeth. For anyone trying...
