Advantages: Really great and well written ideas
Disadvantages: No movie, and the sad news of Douglas Adams’s death

...I wouldn’t say Douglas Adams was a hero of mine but he is someone I admired a great deal. I love the way he wrote and the ideas he came up with, it wasn’t until his death a year ago that it really came home to me of how much a part he played in my life, he will be very missed. I have written a couple of opinions about Douglas Adams’s lately, and have done several, most of the following I wrote but left out due to the length of those ops. ...If you were flicking through your TV guide in March you might have come across a film on BBC2 called About Adam. ...I have shopped in Adam`s for cloth`s for my daughter for about a year now. I find Adam`s great value for money and the cloth`s that i have purchased have all been good qaulity and take alot of ware before looking old. This is one of my hate`s about bying baby clothe`s,the amount of money that i can spend on expensive cloth`s for her,and they end up old very quick. Adam`s has a good selection of cloth`s for both girl`s and boy`s,they sell socks,underware,pj`s,jacket`s,school,casuall and dress cloth`s. they also sell premature and newborn cloth`s,soft pram toy`s,blanket`s etc: I find this a great shop for shoes. I had problems finding baby size2 shoes that were hard sole,when my daughter started to walk. ...Adams Adams is a children's clothing shop, there is bound to be one in most large towns and cities throughout the UK and now stores are popping up in Europe and Asia! There are now over 400 stores in total with over 300 of those in UK alone. A far cry from the days when Amy Adams opened her terraced house in Birmingham selling baby clothes way back in 1933! Amy opened up 3 stores shortly afterwards and 40 yrs later she joins in partnership with Foster Brothers and a further 30 stores open within a couple of years. The business continues to grow today, going from strength to strength. Adams sells children's clothing from babies to 10 yr olds. The shops are usually well laid out with a section dedicated to each age group 0-12mths 1-3 yrs and 4-10yrs and also separated into girls and boys wear. My local Adams is a very small... Read review

...I bought the Adam and Joe DVD as a present for my boyfriend knowing he'd enjoyed watching it back in the day (the show ran from 1996 to 2001). Although I enjoyed watching the series I wasn't expecting too much from the DVD as there were a few sketches that were always a bit hit or miss. However the DVD is a condensed version of the four series' of "The Adam and Joe show" that were originally shown on channel 4. It contains all the "best bits" and is to summarize in one word- HILARIOUS, The show took the form of short sketches with links filmed in Adam and Joe's "bedsit" in London. 'Adam and Joe' are Adam Buxton and Joe Cornish, two friends who met at school and have been working together on comedy sketches and projects ever since. ...Another of the long stream of DVD's I have recently rented from my Blockbuster online membership is 'About Adam.' When I rented this film, I did not have a clue what it was about, I had just heard the name and was curious. Because the movies only come in a slipcase, there was very little telling me what I was about to see, and so this may have something to do with what I thought…Utter tripe. Advantages: A wonderful lyric based song

..."I never conquered, rarely came, tommorow holds such better days, days when i just feel alive, and i cant wait to get outside" Thats just part of the chorus of this masterpiece from Blink 182! Adam's song is a very sad song which is Track 7 on Enema of the State, an Album which saw Blink 182 come into the world as a very popular pop rock band. This song is the best song on the Album along with Going Away To College and a few others in this pop infested album. Adam's song is about a boy called Adam (naturally) who's teenage life is going wrong and everything is just a mess after he's split up with his girlfriend and he's contemplating suicide. The video for this song is pretty cool as it shows Blink 182 performing infront of a board full of pictures of happy memories with the camera zooming in on them and playing... Read review

...Bryan Adams is unfortunately clutching at straws with his eleventh album and its rather predictable title "eleven". In releasing another album featuring yet more of the same old songs, Adams' record company bosses seem to have had a bit of a panic. Being the eleventh album by Adams, and containing eleven tracks (purposely listing the technical twelfth track "Way of the World" as a "bonus"), Adams' will play it on his "eleven dates, eleven cities" tour this year. Perhaps if this album had any merits worth mentioning I could view this as a clever little marketing ploy; instead, I just have visions in my head of music executives sat round a table going "this sounds just like his last five albums, what are we supposed to do with it?" ...This is quite possibly the best DVD I have ever brought =]. I was doing some early christmas shopping yesterday and decided to take a gander in HMV. Being a Bryan Adams fan myself, Its only natural that I would notice this dvd on the far shelf lol. Upon looking at the price tag it said £23.99 O.O. Yes .. it shocked me too. Personally I paid the full amount because I love bryan adams and his music, although you may feel differently. When I got home, I proceeded to play the DVD when I came across a wide range of features. First, I found that the dvd was about learning to play Bryan adams songs lol hence the title. The DVD teachs you 5 classic rock anthems that include 'Summer of 69' 'Run to you' 'Its only love' 'Cant stop this thing we' and started.
