Totally ADDICTed to base

Advantages: Lovely evening perfume, no asthma attack
Disadvantages: very expensive

...I bought this last week as a treat (bad day at work) It did cost me £39 for 50ml from Boots, but I think it was probably worth it as now my other half can't keep his hands off me (oo-er). The other price I noted was £24 for 20ml. The perfume was designed by Thierry Wasser (from Firmenich, the Swiss fragrance manufacturer) and is Dior's first floral oriental. The blend is nightflower, rose, jasmine, orange blossom, sandalwood and bourbon vanilla. I'm normally quite wary of florientals, as things like Opium and Poison tend to bring on an asthma attack with me, and they make my fiance sneeze his head off. However, not so with Dior Addict. The smell is quite masculine in a way, it's musky and very, very sexy. I would probably describe it as Hugo Dark Blue for girls. MACH: A Game of Addiction

Be prepared to become an addict

...what it smells like, it has tones of vanilla,yet smells quite exotic/spicy once the fragrance has settled on you. Perhaps it is easier to say what it doesn't smell like - it isn't a light fragrance, or fresh and 'citrus-y'. I wear this perfume every day. I spray it on at 7am and I can go out that evening still smelling sweet.I have quite oily skin which is a bonus as most perfumes smell good on me. My sister however has very dry skin and this perfume smelt horrible on her so do make sure you try before buying! All the major department stores should still have free trial size samples as it is a new scent. Since buying this I have checked out the make-up Dior have bought out in the Addict range.
