This is usually where you get loads of random people adding you because they've just clicked on the top box which select/deselects all the friends underneath ... it's a good feature because people who you chat to may not know you have bebo and your be able to have a look at their page unless it's private. ...owns the place isn't making enough money already, no wonder people start up these sort of sites, sadly I must have missed that train -- and of course the training course to make sites so technical. I don't actually remember the sign-up process, I think I probably did it without even knowing, but it would not be unlike these sort of sites to make the sign-up process as easy as possible because of course they live off the new members that they attract.   You never know who is lurking from your past!

...to and who with, you know when all those suspicions as a pupil were actually true all along? Scary but true. If you are not a member of Myspace (where have you been) and are wanting something easy to use, easy to find your friends on and easy to maintain then try Bebo. So what do you do to register? Well you do have to be over 13 years old for a start and you do need to have an email address. Then you simply go to www.bebo.com and click on ?register? and fill out all of the appropriate details such as name, username, gender, date of birth, country etc? read the terms and agreement and voila that was the registration part. Once you have confirmed your e-mail address you are free to start using your own Bebo space. Now initially when I signed up for Bebo I did find the whole thing rather weird, the homepage does look very amateurish...

Bebo: the social networking site

Advantages: loads of features good safety/privacy easy to use massive, ever growing community

...and sent comments/mail to friends. In the photos side of things, you can have as many albums as you like. Each album is limited to a maximum of 48 photos. Only your top 12 albums will be shown on your immediate page. The only downside to the photos is that Bebo now automatically lowers the file size of your photos to x kb. This allows for faster uploading but far worse quality at the same time. Videos Videos are shown in the "Video Box" on your page. Videos can be uploaded in 2 ways; A URL (web address) from Youtube, or from your computer/camera/phone etc. Recently a new feature has been added to Bebo which allows you to edit your videos which have been uploaded from personal means. Like the photo albums, you can choose your top videos in order. All of the videos will be in the "video box" but only the top 3 will be shown immediately...

...the other persons map isn't on anonymous. Adding friends is easy you simply write you email address in the bit where it says add friends and your password and it comes up with all the people in your address book who is on bebo and you can also see what friends they have and add them. Bebo has changed quite a bit in the last couple of months, it used to be quite an easy site to use but now with all the applications exactly like Facebook it takes longer for pages to load up and is basically turning in to Facebook slowly but surely, the new name should be BeboBook lol? Im forgetting that on Bebo, you can create and become members of groups, such as bands, soap operas such as eastenders and all sorts of groups created by others.
