Good all purpose shoe, also suitable for cricket

Advantages: Comfortable, well made, reasonable price
Disadvantages: not a lot of toe protection

...I have starting playing indoor cricket, and have been playing on polished wooden surfaces, where grip has been important, especially when bowling. I found the Adidas Uproar to be very comfortable, although not specifically designed for cricket, although taking one on the foot from an indoor ball still hurts. For bowling I found grip very good, essential if you want to avoid turning your ankle over when bowling, even though these are a low cut trainer. The bottom of the shoe has a non-marking indoor sole, and good traction. A cross trainer cut would be a plus, although these shoes were good value and being well made will undoubtedly last for a long time....

Adidas make Great shoe

Advantages: Comfort

...I recently bought my self a paid of these shoes, and for the price they were a very good product. They are extreamly comfortable and I dont have aching feet after long day of golf as i usually do. I do usually go for Footjoy and i dont like to deviate away from what i know, but i decided to go for a change and i am very happy I did. To design is ok just depends what you like they are a bit individual with the adidas striped going all round the shoe and under the sole. They breath well and are so far, waterproof. the only small problem that when your feeet get slighly damp coz of sweating they start to squeek slightly and can be very annoying. But that is just a small thing and is proably my wonky feet. They are light on foot and are easy walking. All in all a good shoe well worth the money if you want to get away from Footjoy....

Advantages: Good styling, comfort and control
Disadvantages: Not very durable

...that Adidas would have taken that fact into consideration and strengthened the toe area of the shoe. The tread in the underside of the shoe has worn down an awful lot. This makes playing on astroturf a bit more difficult. A lot of the grip is lost and you can easily lose your footing. This can be very dangerous and you can pick up a serious injury if you fall awkwardly. ---Style--- The styling of the shoes is actually very good. They have managed to incorporate the special technological aspects into the shoe, without ruining the look. Adidas have managed to create a good balance and contrast between the sole area and the rest of the shoe. Scone Shoes

Advantages: comfortable, better fitting shoes at reasonable prices
Disadvantages: limited range, most of them are quite ugly

Get A Grip!

Advantages: Comfortable, waterproof, stylish, good grip.
Disadvantages: Make sure you break them in properly before you hit the golf course!

I put it away during my teenage years and forgot about it until Christmas 2007 when I watched the BBC adaptation with Emma Watson. ...You may have noticed I've written the odd review or two about iPhone application games in recent weeks...and you'd be right. So here's another one - Flick Cricket. There's a game doing the rounds on the internet called Stick Cricket which is extremely addictive and enjoyable...unfortunately the Flick version is completely different, and not quite up to the same standard; but then again this application is free for all you good, good iPhone users. The game is based on a six-over match, where the user always bats first and then attempts to defend the total as the 'computer' chases it down. On the main menu there are a couple of options - Quick Facebook Game, New Normal Game, Continue Game and Connect with Facebook.
