Adidas Profi Football Boots

Advantages: Very Comfortable, great feel for the ball, stylish, pro's choice
Disadvantages: relatively expensive, hard to find, not too long lasting, only come in blue

.... If you also consider that other top of the range boots such as Adidas Preditors retail at £120, £90 doesn't seem so steep especially for a better boot! Last season i had a problem with both my world cups and copa's, they 'came away at the toe'. This is when the leather pulls away from the sole. However i have not had this problem with the Profi's even after more use. So if your a serious footballer who wants the best boots on the market, i would recommend the Addidas profi's, after all they're better than preditors at a snipet of the price! The definitive boot - Predator

...Predator boots.... Simply the best as far as im concerned. The new designed boots are possibly the most strange looking and most expensive they have made. £129 is a lot for footy boots. They look strange because the laces are not down the centre of the boot, they are offset to the side. This allows the ball to be struck cleanly with the top of the foot and not misaligned on its flightpath by bobbly laces. The front of the boot looks very similar to the older model with the rubber teeth to grip and spin the ball. saying that, rather than individual knarled teeth, each tooth now has fine grooves in it for better ball control. Unless you are Beckham, its not going to make much difference to your playing style and ball curve. Underneath is possibly where the biggest difference is. ...I bought these boots a couple of years ago, as a cheaper alternative to the new beckham predators that had been released. And i was very impressed. the leather was soft from the start and I never once got a blister from the heel. the boots are very comfortbale and contact when striking a football is generally clean. they do provide good stability even in a wet surface. However, in all honestly, with the new f50+ and the tunit ranger just released for the world cup, there are more impressive boots out there. The old style of studs means they are more likely to push through the underside of the boot and really cause pain on your feet. And the basic straight back adidas markings mean the amount of swerve the boots can add is limited. DO not let that put you off these though. they will give you a good level of performance and last...

Advantages: The best boot for curling a football and one touch control.
Disadvantages: The pads on the flat of the foot wear down if you use them too much.

Now you can bid for these gems and get away with paying 15 squids and less for them. If your a good passer of the ball the Predator Rapier t's are outstanding because you can play with your curl of the ball and notice the results straight away.
