Adidas make Great shoe

Advantages: Comfort

...I recently bought my self a paid of these shoes, and for the price they were a very good product. They are extreamly comfortable and I dont have aching feet after long day of golf as i usually do. I do usually go for Footjoy and i dont like to deviate away from what i know, but i decided to go for a change and i am very happy I did. To design is ok just depends what you like they are a bit individual with the adidas striped going all round the shoe and under the sole. They breath well and are so far, waterproof. the only small problem that when your feeet get slighly damp coz of sweating they start to squeek slightly and can be very annoying. But that is just a small thing and is proably my wonky feet. They are light on foot and are easy walking. All in all a good shoe well worth the money if you want to get away from Footjoy....

Advantages: Good styling, comfort and control
Disadvantages: Not very durable

...that Adidas would have taken that fact into consideration and strengthened the toe area of the shoe. The tread in the underside of the shoe has worn down an awful lot. This makes playing on astroturf a bit more difficult. A lot of the grip is lost and you can easily lose your footing. This can be very dangerous and you can pick up a serious injury if you fall awkwardly. ---Style--- The styling of the shoes is actually very good. They have managed to incorporate the special technological aspects into the shoe, without ruining the look. Adidas have managed to create a good balance and contrast between the sole area and the rest of the shoe. these shoes are made for walking

Advantages: long lasting, ideal changing weather
Disadvantages: you get so used to wearing them you don't like going out in your heels!

...These are the third pair of Salomon shoes I?ve owned and I don?t think I will ever buy a different brand of walking shoe again. I live in a hilly area and don?t have a car and therefore do a lot of walking, not only are they incredibly comfortable but they keep my feet dry in the wettest of weather but at the same time circulate air and therefore I?ve never had the ?smelly trainer? problem. Basically they are warm and dry in winter and cool in the summer. As well as the everyday use mentioned above I?ve also wear them for more challenging walking, for example coastal path walks. My last pair lasted over three years with consistent use but not until the very end did they show any sign of their age. I also, and I know this is a very personal preference, find them much more attractive than a normal trainer....

Review of What Women Want (DVD)

Good all purpose shoe, also suitable for cricket

Advantages: Comfortable, well made, reasonable price
Disadvantages: not a lot of toe protection

...I have starting playing indoor cricket, and have been playing on polished wooden surfaces, where grip has been important, especially when bowling. I found the Adidas Uproar to be very comfortable, although not specifically designed for cricket, although taking one on the foot from an indoor ball still hurts. For bowling I found grip very good, essential if you want to avoid turning your ankle over when bowling, even though these are a low cut trainer. The bottom of the shoe has a non-marking indoor sole, and good traction. A cross trainer cut would be a plus, although these shoes were good value and being well made will undoubtedly last for a long time....

Scone Shoes

Advantages: comfortable, better fitting shoes at reasonable prices
Disadvantages: limited range, most of them are quite ugly

But there ARE stilettos. There ARE knee-length leather boots. There ARE strappy sandals, and some of them are even pretty. Get A Grip!

Advantages: Comfortable, waterproof, stylish, good grip.

A trip to the Island outdoor shop was necessary and after trying on several different makes I finally opted for a pair of Merrell walking shoes. Fast forward almost a decade and I can honestly say these were the best pair of shoes I have ever bought. Sadly after walking many miles my shoes had started to show their age! I put it away during my teenage years and forgot about it until Christmas 2007 when I watched the BBC adaptation with Emma Watson.
