Adobe Photoshop 7 - A Review

Advantages: The best photo-editor on the market, new time-saving features.
Disadvantages: Expensive, new version has few new creative tools, not good for home use.

After trying a few cheaper alternatives, I splashed out on Abode Photoshop 7 with all the trimmings, but I now use it almost every day. Express your creativity with Photoshop 7.0!

Advantages: Easy to use and is 80% as good as CS Version
Disadvantages: Not up to date with newer version of Photoshop CS

...Ideal gift for passionate photography lover - that's for me! :) Adobe Photoshop 7.0 was wrapped by my dad especially for me in 2005! It was my new Year's Gift! My parents decided to gift me something suseful, something that would develop my creativity, computer and english skills as well as photo editing! I have no idea where my parents got it and how much they paid for it as we don't ask in our family once something has been gifted :) and I was just too lazy to check out shops for the price. Now I guess you can get it for much cheaper than before! I think Photoshop is priceless and since I have got it, not even one photo has been printed without the magical touch of photoshop! All those pimples, double chins etc. are dissapearing in seconds! And it all looks so natural ;) I find cropping tool very useful as it is possible...

Amazing Photo Editing Program (Adobe Photoshop CS4)

Advantages: Massive amount of features, endless ways to manipulate pictures
Disadvantages: Takes a while to learn how to use it

...Having recently reviewed Quark on here I thought I should also give a review on Photoshop as it is another program that I use on a daily basis. Photoshop is a photo editing program which again as with quark I started when I was 17 (long time ago now) and at college studying Graphic Design, being young and having never used the program before I thought it was amazing, I didn't realize that there where programs out there that could do so much to pictures. Adobe Photoshop- Amazing- End Of

Advantages: marvellous picture editing
Disadvantages: user face can be a little scary, because of all the drop down arrows

...now adobe photoshop is something i can indeed write about, this software when i first started to use it, scared the living day lights out of me, i swear id look at and think *oh my god, what've i taken on* honestly first appearance of the userface scared me. first couple of times i struggled to draw a straight line, i was unable to find where all the different tools were, i was slightly confused that if i made a mistake i could only back step once, i couldnt understand why i couldnt save it as a picture to open in the window viewer, i couldnt figure out how i could possibly change the colors from the default black and white, i didnt even know what a filter was, i couldnt under stand the concept of it for weeks, this is when i switched to using good old paint, i knew how to use it, i understood the theory of paint, but i wasnt completly...

Advantages: Brilliant facilities allowing scope for maximum creativity, User friendly, Brilliant Online Support Network, Beautifully sharp images (fantastic for making youself thinner, browner, or giving yourself a different hair colour)
