Adrian Mole Grows Up
Advantages: Satirical look at modern life
Disadvantages: Adrian Mole doesnt work as an adult character
...Adrian Mole starts the new millennium at a low point in his life; his previous career as an offal chef and TV presenter has come to an end, he has developed a bald spot the size of a jaffa cake and he is forced to live amongst the underclass on the Gaitskell estate.
Adrian is now a single father to his two boys Glenn and William and parenthood brings new challenges for him. William wants a Barbie hairdressing salon for Christmas and Glenn forges notes from home to the PE teacher asking that he be allowed to wear long trousers for cross country running to spare him the humiliation of having his skinny legs on show. Modern parenthood can be a minefield, especially when your children have two different mothers and you are forced to bring them up on a tough estate with bad influences all around them.
All the old characters from...

Advantages: Great speed and dribbling abilities
Disadvantages: Agressive
...Adrian Mutu (born January 8 1979, Călineşti, Arges) is a Romanian football player, supranumit The Diamond. He is a talented attacker for the football national team of Romania. He bears the classic number 10, which took the predecessor, Gheorghe Hagi.

Mutu began his career in professional football player at FC Arges Pitesti, where he scored 11 goals in 41 games, until it was sold on ? 600,000 ($ 760,000) at Dinamo Bucharest.
Dinamo Bucharest (1998-1999)
His big performance Mutu began to see at Dinamo. He scored 26 goals in 37 games with a very important role in winning the championship and the romanian cup by Dinamo, but in return, he has been transferred to Inter.

Sing, But Keep Going - Sherwood
Advantages: distorsi are grunge
Disadvantages: the vocal main the no scream
...and enjoyable. Sherwood seem to have a mastery of clean, smooth vocal harmonies and voices that sound great together, and their live act is suprisingly consistent, even on the often high, non-stop vocals....

If you love one of life's triers, go and find Adrian Mole
Advantages: Would suit teenagers and adults alike
Disadvantages: Today's teenagers might have to look up the 1980s references
...Introduction
I can't help but warm to Adrian. One of fiction's hopeless cases - socially, he he partakes of all the usual teenage things (kissing, flirting, going to the odd party, sneaking a bit of illicit alcohol here and there) but there's something about his personality that isolates him. I think it's quite telling that he gets bullied by the school's "hard case", Barry Kent and his gang - Adrian comes across as someone who is always going to be different, and not quite accepted - but then again he believes himself to be an "undiscovered intellectual" so in a way, he carries on regardless, thinking that he is more sophisticated and educationally superior to Barry. Yet in some ways, Adrian is from a very average, working-class world and despite his lofty ambitions he is overwhelmingly concerned with the body worries and popularity...

The Sherwood RD6103 - A Real Bargain!
Advantages: Loud, Great Sound Quality, Lots Of Control, Cheap!
Disadvantages: Large physical size, Poor Remote Control
...I was looking for a cheap, good quality Home Cinema amp that would be used mainly for music and DVDs. After looking through pages of Sony and JVC models, I stumbled across the Sherwood RD6103.
At first, I must say I wasn't particularly impressed. With only 65 watts of power per channel and no 6.1 or 7.1 support, I was sceptical to say the least. Anyway, as I was on a strict budget and the RD6103 did seem a good buy, I went to a local Hi-Fi dealer to try one out.
I was not expecting what I saw! In the flesh, the unit looked clean and professional, with nice touches such as rounded edges and handy connectors for Audio/Video inputs on the front of the unit.
It supports video switching, allowing a single connection to a TV with automatic selection of audio/video inputs.
The sound quality from this amp is spectacular, giving...

Adrian Mole Returns
Advantages: Funny, witty, comical
Disadvantages: Adrian and Pandora are still not a couple!
...Well, it's great to see dear old Adrian Mole back after so many years. But this time he is a grown man in his 30's, not a meer spotty lad of 13 yrs old!
Sue Townsend has, yet again, written a book that is so witty, funny and comical, I was laughing the whole way through! He is an offal chef at the 'Hoi Polloi' restaurant in Soho, London. A job he endures only to earn a living. His real dream is to be a writer, something he has had little success of. Another one of his failures is Pandara Braithwaite, the beautiful school sweetheart who is up for election as the MP for Ashby-de-la-Zouch. He loves her dearly, and would be a dream come true for him if she could love him in return.
Now a single father to William, half Nigerian. Jo-Jo, William's mother, is now in Nigeria. William loves the Tellytubbies and Jeremy Clarkson...

Adrian Briliant Flux
Advantages: 4x4 cover at a brilliant price
Disadvantages: none that i have found
...after a long look at the market I chose to go with Adrian Flux who gave me a brilliant comprehensive package at a great price .In fact it was £300 lower than the next lowest quote and gave twice as many extras with the policy at no extra cost . I opted for their breakdown cover too as it was a good deal and also very competative . I got several freebies with them including some extra cover for road rage incidents and also my insurance file which is a website for their customers to use. I have had a false and complicated claim made against me and they have been brilliant totally supportive and willing to listen. I have dealt with several insurance companies in recent years and this has been the best choice by far . I have had no communication problems and have had no inferior treatment because i have paid less than other companies . I...

Adrian Mole Growing Pains!
Advantages: very hard to put down!
Disadvantages: none
...Adrian Mole is a series of books by Sue Townsend. It started of with The Secret Diary Of Adrian Mole aged 13 3/4 and the next was "The Growing Pains Of Adrian Mole.
Adrian Mole is 15 in this book, He says he's an intellectual even though he's a bit dim, one of his main problems is all the spots he's got. He is in a lower class than his girlfriend, Pandora, who has a massive home, loads of money, and smokes, Unlike him.
The story is his diary of what happens every day through his eyes. At the beginning, the falklands war is happening and he tries to keep his map up to date. In the first book, his mum and dad break up, and his dad goes to live with 'Stick insect' Doreen Slater and her son Maxwell. His mum starts to see the next door neighbour Lucas but his mum and dad get back together. Then They find out Doreen is pregnant...

Cover your wheels with Adrian
Advantages: Guarantee to beat a better quote from another company
Disadvantages: The same problem as everybody else, amount of time you are on hold!
...I found Adrian Flux insurance about 6 years ago when 'searching for cheaper car insurance' and I've renewed with them every year since.
As a broker they check their panel of 36 insurance companies (which could be why you are so long on the phone) and do seem to have the customer in mind when finding competitive quotes. With over a 100 different schemes the offer cover for everything from family cars to American hot rods.
Their renewal quotes have always favourable (for both my four and two wheels as I tend to go for the performance side of the market) and if I do find a quote cheaper the will always beat it. They provide the usual extra's such as legal protection, breakdown cover, courtesy car while yours is been repaired etc.
I'm afraid I couldn't tell you what the speed and how helpful they are at processing claims as I...

Adrian No-le
Advantages: It's Moley!
Disadvantages: Badly casted more than anything else
...Adrian Mole is a national phenomenon. The first series of books I ever read, I've always been a massive Moley - and Sue Townsend - fan. The original TV series, rereleased on video soon and starring Julie Walters and Beryl Reid, was superb, and Townsend's books need no introduction. The latest book, 'The Cappucino Years', is an excellent read, but somewhere it's been lost in translation.
For one, Stephen Mangam just isn't Adrian Mole. Mole is supposed to be a Leicester born, quirky, geeky guy, whereas Mangam just looks himself dressed down for the part. Helen Baxendale's Pandora really doesn't deserve even a mention, so bad is she, and the rest of both families just fade into insignifigance. Only saving factors are Zoe Wanamaker, excellent as Pandora's suffering mother, and Mole's sister Rosie who is equally ever-suffering, and equally...
